Product Information

The product is a light fixture with a motion sensor. It operates on a 120V, 60Hz supply circuit and uses a 1E26100W Max bulb type. The suggested bulb type is an 11W LED A19, which is not included in the package. The fixture comes with various components including a junction box, leading wires, universal mounting bracket, mounting screws, studs, back plate, washer, and cap nut. It also includes other parts such as wire nut, fixture wire, socket, fixture frame, glass, and glass clip.
The user manual provides instructions on assembly, installation, and operation of the product. It explains how to replace damaged glass and provides diagrams for different operating modes.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Open the box and carefully take out all the components, parts bag, and manual.
  2. Check all the components against the parts list to ensure nothing is missing or damaged. If any parts are missing or if the glass is damaged, contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
  3. If the glass is damaged, unlock the glass clips on the bottom of the fixture frame to release the damaged glass. Replace it with a new glass and clip the glass clips again to fix it.
  4. Follow the provided illustration for assembly and wiring:
    • I. Connect wires (A) using wire nuts (Code I).
    • II. Connect fixture wire (B) to socket (C) and fixture frame (D).
    • III. Connect fixture wire (B) to junction box (J).
    • IV. Install bulb (G) and secure it with glass clip (F) and glass (E).
  5. The product has different modes of operation:
    • Day & 15 Sec Night: The light works when motion is detected during the day and stays on for 15 seconds at night.
    • Dual-bright Test mode: Press the tact switch to test the dual-bright mode.
    • ON/OFF Test mode: Press the tact switch to test the ON/OFF mode.
    • Dual-bright mode: The light works at night when motion is detected.
    • ON/OFF mode: The light works at night when motion is detected.
    • Manual override: Press the tact switch to manually override the light and keep it on.
  6. There are additional operating diagrams provided for low-level brightness dimming, dual-bright mode, ON/OFF mode, and manual override mode.
  7. Important notes:
    • Clean the lens every 1 or 2 months with a soft cloth to maintain maximum sensitivity.
    • Install the fixture at a height of 6-8 feet above the ground for optimal performance.
    • The sensor detects motion across a range of 220 degrees.
    • The sensor is more sensitive to motion across its detection path than motion directly towards it.
    • Avoid mounting the fixture near heat sources like air conditioners, vents, or furnaces to minimize nuisances.

MODEL : 700100, 700101

  1. The sensitivity of the motion sensor will increase as the environmental temperature gets cooler. For best performance, gently clean the lens with a soft cloth every 1 or 2 months to assure maximum sensitivity.
  2. For best performance, install fixture at 6~8 feet above the ground. At such a height, the lantern will provide a detection distance of up to 40 feet at 77 degrees Fahrenheit.(See Fig.4)
  3. The sensor detects across a detection range of 220 degrees.(See Fig.5)
  4. The sensor will be more sensitive to motion across its detection path than motion directly towards it. (See Fig.6)
  5. To reduce possible nuisances, do not mount the fixture near a heat source like an air conditioner, vent or furnace exhaust, or in a direction facing any reflecting object or other light source.
