How to use

  1. STANDARD TIMING
    Both the standard and smart timers support the standard timing function.
    The timer will save the latest 5 results and automatically generate the corresponding AO5 result.

  2. Press the ‘Logo’ button to turn on the timer.

  3. Lay both hands on the touch pads and wait until the signal rim changes from the status of touching to READY, which indicating that the timer is ready for timing.

  4. Lift hands, timing begins.

  5. Stop timing by laying hands on the touch pads again. Touch both pads simultaneously, timing stops.

  6. Press ‘Logo’ button to reset.

  7. Double Press ‘Logo’ button to check the latest result, double pressing again to switch between recent 5 results and its AO5 result.

  8. Press ‘Logo’ button until “OFF” appears on the screen to turn off the timer. The timer will also turn off by itself after 5 minutes without any operation.

  9. SMART TIMING
    The smart timer can be connected to the Cube Station App via Bluetooth for timing practice. After connecting to the App, it can automatically store unlimited results, which can be checked/analyzed/deleted in the App.

  10. Connecting to the App
    Turn on the timer and the Bluetooth of your smart phone. Log in to Cube Station App, enter App Homepage – Device, search and select GAN Smart Timer in Device . The timer is successfully connected when the Bluetooth icon in the display screen stops blinking and remains on.

  11. Uploading/Saving/Checking the results
    The smart timer can save 10000 results offline. When connecting, the App will automatically detect the results stored in the timer and prompt to upload. After uploading successfully, the results in the timer will be cleared automatically, and only the latest 5 results and their AO5 result will be retained. To check and delete the results in the App, enter Homepage – Training – Timer – Group Data.

  • You can get the right of storing unlimited results by authenticating the timer under your account. See ‘05’ below for details.

  • If the result cannot be viewed after the above operation, please press the Logo button for 1 sec to check whether the time setting is correct. 3. Smart timing with the App

    1. Timer with Smart Cube: Connect the timer and smart cube to the App, enter the App Homepage -Training – Timer. Practice with smart cube and the smart timer at the same time according to the scramble provided in the App. The practice results of the timer will be automatically saved in the Group Data – Standard Timer (Smart) – Default Group.
  • Cube solving and timer results are saved in the App at the same time. 2. Timer with Non-Smart Cube: Connect the timer to the App, enter the App Homepage – Setting- Mode and select Non-Smart Cube. Return to the Homepage and enter the Training -Timer. Then practice with the timer according to the scramble provided in the App. The practice results will be automatically saved in the Group Data – Standard Timer – Default Group.

  • Operation of the Timer after connecting to the App is the same as that of “Standard Timing”. 4. Disconnecting
    Enter the App Homepage – Device and click ‘Disconnect‘ in the device list to disconnect the timer from the App. When disconnected, the Bluetooth sign in the display screen will blink.

    1. Authentication and binding of devices in the account of Cube Station

    2. Authentication of GAN smart timer in the account will unlock the exclusive rights of GAN smart devices for the account.
      Authentication: Follow the prompts when connecting; Or go to the App Homepage – Avatar – Device Verification after connecting.

    3. Bind the timer with your account to prevent other users from connecting to your timer.
      Binding :Enter the App Homepage – Device, find the timer in the device list and click ‘Bind’ option in the App (Setting-Bind).
      Unbind
      Mode 1: Enter the App Homepage – Device, find the timer in the device list and click ‘Unbind’ option in the App (Setting-Unbind).
      Mode 2: Press the Logo Button for 3 times.

Lighting system guide01/Prompt effect: 3 PROMTS

The timer’s lighting system indicates 3 PROMTS with different light effects.

  1. The timer prompts 3 states through different signal rim effects:
  2. ‘TOUCH’ prompt appears when the hand touches the touch pad correctly.
  3. ‘READY’ (ready to time )prompt appears when both hands are correctly placed on the touch pads and the timer is ready to start timing. At this time, lift your hand to start timing.
  4. ‘TIME’ prompt appears when the timer is in the process of timing.
  5. Flashing Mode:
    This timer has 3 flashing modes, each comes with brightness of 3 brightness levels(01/02/03from least to most bright)) Mode| Touching/READY| Timing| Brightness Level

  1. Customize signal rim effects (Only for smart timer)
    You can customize the signal rim effects (Flashing Mode & Color Combination) by using the ‘ Signal Rim Setting’ option ( Homepage – Device – Setting – Signal Rim Setting ) after connecting to the Cube Station App.
    *The default settings of the customize signal rim effect are color combination C0 (Blue + Red) and Flashing Mode L1-01.

Smart Timer clocking function

  1. Check the time:
    In the timing interface, long press the ‘Logo’ button for 1 sec to display the date, and then press 1 sec to display the clock; Press the ‘Logo’ button to return to the timing interface.

  2. Time Calibration:
    Mode 1: Automatic calibration in the App (Recommended)
    After the timer connects to the App, enter the App Homepage – Device, find the timer in the device list and click ‘Time Calibration’ option ( Setting – Time Calibration).

  3. In the date/clock display interface, Press ‘Logo’ button 2 times to enter the setting interface

  4. Press ‘Logo’ button to select the parameter to be adjusted.

  5. The left touch pad decreases and the right touch pad increases. Press or hold the corresponding touch pad to adjust step by step/continuously.

  6. Press the ‘Logo’ button for 2 secs to save, and return to the date/clock display interface.
