EIZO 3010 GA-SV 12 Inch Monochrome Monitor
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Eizo monitor model 3010. We appreciate your
patronage and are confident that you will be pleased with its performance.
The 12″monochrome monitor model 3010 is designed to suit any personal computer
with composite video signal output. (YAMAHA YIS-5O3) The model 3010 is capable
of displaying 2000 characters or 640X200 pixels and 0.4W audio function is
standard.

- Front: Brightness, Contrast, Audio.
- Rear: H-size, H-hold, H-position, V-size, V-hold.
Caution!
Disconnect both the monitor and the computer from the AC power source while
interconnecting the two units.
CONNECTIONS AND CONTROLS
OPERATION
- CD Connect the computer to the video input connector on the rear of the monitor.
- Plug both the monitor and computer into the wall socket.
- Turn on the monitor and the computer power switches. The indicator lamp will light up when the power is turned on.
- After a brief warm-up period, adjust the brightness and contrast con trols on the front panel to give a comfortable screen level.
- Display stability, width, height and position have been preset at the factory and should not require further adjustment. If further adjustment of display is required due to design differences among computers, refer to the USER MAINTENANCE section.
- Input the audio signal to the 3.5mm mini-jack on the rear panel. Ad just audio volume to the required level using the volume control on the front panel.
PRECAUTIONS WHILE OPERATING
- To insure proper air circulation, do not leave any objects on top of the monitor cabinet.
- Do not place any liquids on top of the monitor cabinet.
- Do not use or store the monitor in direct sunlight. Avoid excessive heat, dust or humidity.
- Be sure that the monitor is firmly positioned on its supporting surface.
- Keep monitor away from speaker systems or other strong magnetic fields.
- Keep the power cord away from where people will step on it or trip over it.
- Always remove the power cord and interface cables by grasping the plugs and pulling.
USER MAINTENANCE
Warning! To prevent electrical shock, do not remove cover. No userser viceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. Caution! Except as noted below, refer all maintenance to authorized repair facilities.
- To keep your monitor’s screen and cabinet clean, turn off the monitor and wipe with a soft, dry cloth .. Do not use any spray cleaner, waxes or solvents.
- The following phenomena may be seen in the display when signals other than the recommended signals are received. Use the rear panel controls on the monitor to adjust the picture.
