THUREN FABRICATION Daystar Airbag Cradle
These instructions are applicable to the following Trucks:
Universal Fit
Applicable Part Numbers:
KU09140BK
M20869-BK qty 2-Airbag Cradle
S10833- qty 2 3/8-16×1-1 ¼ Bolt
S10113- qty 2 3/8-16 Ny-Lock nut
Check to make sure the cradle will clear in all movements of the suspension.
WARNING: Only use Cradles with bellow type air bags that are 6” diameter
Installation
- If you are installing your air bag cradle with a new air bag system, follow the manufactures instructions completely up until the point of attaching the air bag to the axle pad. If you are installing your Air Bag Cradle onto an existing air bag system, disconnect the lower portion of your air bag that is attached to the spring pad.
- When installing your Air Bag Cradle make sure to have the truck’s suspension at full extension or enough to be able to get the Airbag Cradle between the axle pad and air bag.
- Place the Air Bag Cradle onto the Air Bag axle pad and secure with provided hardware.
- Lower vehicle and make sure your air bag sits in the Air Bag Cradle. Do not Re-Attach the lower portion of the air bag. After Installation re-check the bolts at 250 miles to make sure the bolts on the Air Bag Cradle are tight. You have now completed the installation of the Daystar Products Air Bag Cradle.
