Product Usage Instructions

How to Connect:
First Time Connection:

1. Pick up two earbuds, tear off their isolation films and push them back in the case to activate.
2. Pick up both earbuds again.
3. On your phone, search for “QCY MeloBuds Neo” and tap to connect.
4. The earbuds will automatically power on when picked up. If they don’t, please charge them and try again.

Multi-Point Connection:

1. Refer to the “How to Connect” instructions to connect the earbuds to PhoneA and turn off its Bluetooth to make the earbuds connectable.
2. On PhoneB, search for and tap “QCY MeloBuds Neo” to connect.
3. Turn on PhoneA’s Bluetooth and tap “QCY MeloBuds Neo” to connect.

How to Wear:
Choose eartips that fit you best. Medium eartips are recommended for most people.

One Press to Turn Connectable:

1. If the earbuds were connected to a phone before, push them into the case and leave the case lid open.
2. Press and hold the charging case button for 3 seconds or until the LEDs on the earbuds blink white.
3. Pick up the earbuds again. They will now be connectable to a phone.

Factory Setting:
To delete connectivity records and reset the earbuds, push them into the case and press and hold the charging case button for 10 seconds or until the LEDs on the earbuds blink red 5 times. After factory setting, refer to the “First Time Connection” instructions.

LED Indicators:
LED on Earbud:

• LED turns solid red when the earbud is being charged.
• LED turns white for 30 seconds once it is fully charged.

LED on Case:

• LED glows solid red when the case is being charged.
• LED turns white once the case is fully charged.

If the battery level is under 20%, pressing the button will make the LED turn red for 5 seconds. Otherwise, pressing the button will make it turn white for 5 seconds.

Functions:

• Power-on: Pick up earbuds or keep touching the panel for 1.5 seconds
• Power-off: Push earbuds back into the case
• Answer/end call: Double touch the panel
• Ignore call: Keep touching the panel for 1.5 seconds
• Skip track forward: Triple touch the right panel
• Voice assistant: Triple touch the left panel
• Playback/pause: Double touch the panel
• Gaming mode: Keep touching the left panel for 1.5 seconds
• Vol +: When playing music, touch the right panel (volume cannot be adjusted during calling)
• Vol -: When playing music, touch the left panel (volume cannot be adjusted during calling)
• Switch mode: Keep touching the right panel for 1.5 seconds to switch among ANC ON, ANC OFF, and Transparency

How to Connect

First Time Connection:

2. Pick up both earbuds again.
3. On phone, search QCY MeloBuds Neo and tap to connect.

• Earbuds will auto power on the moment picked up. If they don’t, please charge and try again.

One Press to Turn Connectable：

1. Earbuds were connected to phone before.
2. Push earbuds into case and leave the case lid open. Press and hold charging case button for 3s or until LEDs on earbuds blink white then pick up earbuds again. They will then turn connectable to phone.

Multi-Point Connection

1. Refer to How to Connect to connect earbuds to PhoneA and turn off its Bluetooth to turn earbuds connectable.
2. On PhoneB, search and tap QCY MeloBuds Neo to connect.
3. Turn on PhoneA’s Bluetooth and tap QCY MeloBuds Neo to connect.

Factory Setting

Delete Connectivity Records:
(Try the following steps if earbuds fail to be connected)
Push in earbuds case and press and hold charging case button for 10s or until LEDs on earbuds blink red 5 times. * Please refer to First Time Connection after Factory Setting.

How to Wear

1. Please put on earbuds properly then adjust them to fit yourself.
2. Keep microphone towards your mouth.
3. It will cause a bad calling or listening experience to wear them in a wrong way.

LED on Earbud
LED will turn solid red when earbud is being charged and turn white for 30s once it is topped up.

LED on Case
LED will glow solid red when the case is being charged and turn white once it’s topped up.
If the battery level is under 20%, press the button and LED will turn red for 5s.
If not, press the button and it will turn white for 5s.

Tips

1. Before using the earbuds, please read the manual carefully and keep it for future references.
2. The earbuds need to be fully charged prior to first-time use.
3. If the earbuds are left unused for over two weeks, please recharge.
4. Please use the chargers made by qualified manufacturer.
5. If earbuds fail to be found by phone, please re-turn them connectable or restore factory settings. If a program error of phone occurs, please turn off and on Bluetooth function or reboot the phone.

Caveats

1. Never disassemble or modify your earbuds for any reasons to avoid any damages and danger.
2. Do not store the earbuds in extreme temperatures (under 0°C or over 45°C).
3. Avoid using the indicator close to the eyes of children or animals.
4. Do not use the earbuds during a thunderstorm to avoid dysfunction and increasing risk of electric shock.
5. Do not use harsh chemicals or strong detergents to clean the earbuds.
   Note: please do not use earbuds for a long time as may damage your hearing.
