Product Usage Instructions

1. Determine where you will install the Indoor/Outdoor LED Light Strip. Make sure the location is close enough to a power source for the cord to reach without becoming a tripping hazard.
2. Using the included mounting clips and screws, mount the Light Strip in the desired location. For best results, place one clip approximately every 20 inches or 5 scissors mark to secure the entire light strip evenly. Move some mounting clips closer to corners to better secure the strip around turns, use fewer on straight areas.
3. Once installed, connect the power adapter to a powered outlet. (Outdoors, this must be a GFCI-protected outlet.)
4. Remove the protective tab from the battery compartment of the remote.
5. You are now ready to use your product. If the power adapter doesn’t reach to the ground from the outlet, use the keyhole hanger and a screw or nail to hang it.

Remote Control Operation

Controls, at a Glance:

• ON/OFF: Turn the product on and off
• MULTI-WHITE SELECTORS: Select from cool, soft, or warm white
• MULTI-COLOR SELECTORS: Change the color to match your mood
• FLASH: Flash color-changing mode
• STROBE: Strobe color-changing mode
• FADE: Fade color-changing mode
• SMOOTH: Smooth color-changing mode
• RESET: Reset to default settings
• DIMMER BUTTONS: Adjust the brightness/intensity

1. Turn on the LED Light by pushing the ON button on the remote control.
2. Select the desired color or effect by pushing the corresponding button on the remote control.
3. Set the desired brightness using the dimmer buttons to increase/decrease the intensity of color.
4. Push the OFF button to turn off the LED Light.

Note:

• For best operation, point the IR remote towards the IR receiver (towards power adapter).
• You can use this Light Strip with a timer outlet or smart plug as it will power on into the last used lighting mode.

Battery Replacement

1. The battery compartment is located on the narrow side of the remote control.
2. Press the release tab inwards and remove the tray.

• This LED light strip is suitable for use in wet locations. Do not submerge the strip or the power supply unit in water.
• The plug on the power supply unit must be connected to a GFCI-protected hooded flush-type cover plate receptacle marked “Wet Location” while in use outdoors.
• This product has a polarized plug and will only fit in a polarized outlet. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. Do not alter the plug.
• Use only with an extension cord rated for outdoor use. Use only three-wire outdoor extension cords that have three-prong grounding plugs and grounding receptacles that accept the appliance’s plug. Never use an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted.
• Do not expose this product to open flames or use near fire.
• Do not use the product in a strong magnetic field.
• Use a clean, soft cloth to clean. Do not use any corrosive cleaners/oils to clean.
• Do not attempt to repair the device or open the unit as this will void the warranty.

NOTE:

• NOTE: You cannot connect additional light strips to this product.
• NOTE: If desired, you can cut the light strip to shorter lengths by cutting on the designated scissors marks. However, IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN CUT IT WILL NO LONGER BE WATERPROOF.

Get Started

TIP:

Controls, at a Glance

IR Remote Operation

The battery for the remote control has already been installed. Remove and discard the clear plastic pull tab before use.

1. Turn on the LED Light by pushing the ON button on the remote control
2. Select the desired color or the desired effect by pushing the corresponding button on the remote control
3. Set the desired brightness using the buttons to increase/decrease the intensity of color
4. Push the OFF button to turn off the LED Light

NOTE:

1. For best operation, point the IR remote towards the IR receiver (towards power adapter).
2. You can use this Light Strip with a timer outlet or smart plug as it will power on into the last used lighting mode.

Changing the remote control battery:

1. The battery compartment is located on the narrow side of the remote control, press the release tab inwards and remove the tray
2. Remove the empty battery and insert a 3V battery, type CR2025*, with the positive terminal pointing upwards
3. Place the battery compartment back in the remote control so it locks in place

The listed battery type may differ slightly from what is supplied. When replacing the battery, please verify the actual battery size in the remote control.
