Product Information

The 6 LED Retrofit-Kit With Night Light is a lighting solution offered by Maxxima. This product is designed to replace existingfixtures and provide energy-efficient lighting with the added functionality of a night light mode.

Warranty:

The Maxxima 6 LED Retrofit-Kit With Night Light comes with a 3-year limited warranty. This warranty covers defects in material and/or workmanship. If the product fails within the warranty period due to such defects, Maxxima will replace the product free of charge.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure the power has been turned off by switching the circuit breaker to the off position or by removing the fuse from the fuse panel.
  2. If replacing an existing fixture, remove and disconnect the existing fixture from the housing.
  3. Select the desired color temperature by moving the selector switch (refer to figure 1).
  4. Twist the E26 adapter into the housing (refer to figure 2).
  5. Connect the orange connector to the E26 adapter (refer to figure 3).
  6. Ensure the torsion springs are within the housing and that the supply wires will not get pinched (refer to figure 4).
  7. With the torsion springs in position, push the fixture up until flush with the ceiling (refer to figure 5).
  8. Restore power and the light is now operational.
  9. To turn on night light mode after switching the light on, switch the light off then on again within a second. The night light will be on within a second.
  10. The MRL-61125 has a memory feature that retains the previously used mode (either normal light mode or night light mode). To change the mode, switch the light(s) on, then off, then on quickly. The light(s) will sense this quick switching action and toggle between normal mode and night light mode. If no quick switching action is detected, the light(s) will remain in their current mode.

WARNINGS

  • Risk of electric shock or fire – Disconnect power at the source before installation.
  • If you are unsure about the installation or the maintenance of the fixture, please consult an electrician.
  • Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or modify any electrical componentry.
  • To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.

CAUTIONS

  • The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code (N.E.C) standards and any applicable local codes or ordinances.
  • This fixture is not compatible with photo controls, occupancy sensors, or timing devices.
  • This fixture is designed for use with 120Vac, 50/60Hz only.
  • The retrofit kit is accepted as a component of a luminaire where the suitability of the combination shall be determined by CSA or authorities having jurisdiction.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Ensure the power has been turned off by switching the circuit breaker to the off position or by removing the fuse from the fuse panel.

  10. MRL-61125 utilizes a memory feature such that the light(s) will remain in the previously used mode (either normal light mode or night light mode). Once the user switches the light(s) on, then off, then on quickly, the mode of the light(s) will change. This would be night light mode if the light(s) were in normal mode, or normal mode if the light(s) were in night light mode. The light(s) sense this quick switching action, which allows the user to toggle in and out of night light mode. If this quick switching action is not detected, then the light will remain in its current mode

Maxxima extends a 3 year limited warranty to the original purchase that the products listed are free from defects in material and/or workmanship only. Maxxima will replace any warrantied product to the original consumer/purchaser if the product fails because of defects due to workmanship and/or materials within the limited warranty period. Limited warranty is not transferable and applies to the original installation of the Maxxima product. This offer does not constitute in any way a product guarantee and Maxxima does not hereby assume any obligation whatsoever beyond sending a free replacement product
