Product Information
Logitech Crayon is a pixel-precise digital pencil designed for all iPads
released in 2018 and later. It utilizes Apple Pencil technology, including
Scribble, to provide a seamless writing experience that mimics the natural
feel of using a pencil and paper. With the Logitech Crayon, you can unleash
your creativity and productivity in hundreds of Apple Pencil-supported apps.
The Crayon features precise and responsive performance, allowing you to
achieve different line weights by tilting the pencil. It does not require
pairing and can be used instantly by simply turning it on. The pencil has an
anti-roll design and incorporates Palm Rejection Technology to ensure
comfortable and accurate usage. The Logitech Crayon offers up to 7.5 hours of
active writing time on a single charge, allowing you to use it throughout the
day without interruptions.

To use the Logitech Crayon with your iPad, please make sure you meet the
following system requirements:
- iPad with iOS 12.2 and above
If you notice any changes in functionality after updating the iOS on your iPad, you may need to update Crayon’s software. Follow these steps:

- Connect the Logitech Crayon to your laptop using a lightning cable.
- Follow the prompts on your laptop to update the software.

Tilt sensitivity for dynamic line weight Palm rejection technology ignores
stray touches The tip can be damaged if Logitech Crayon is dropped and may
also wear down with extended use. If either of these occurs, the tip will need
to be replaced to avoid damaging the iPad screen. Replacement tips can be

PRODUCT SETUP
- To start using Logitech Crayon, simply turn it on and draw. No software downloads or pairing is required. Here are some tips to get started: Make sure you are using an iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd gen), iPad Pro 11-inch, iPad Air (3rd & 4th gen), iPad mini (5th gen), iPad (6th, 7th, 8th, & 9th gen). These are the only devices that are compatible with Logitech Crayon.
- Make sure iPad is updated to iOS 11.4 or above. To check your iOS version, go to iPad Settings → General → Software.
- Disconnect any previously connected digital pencils, such as Apple Pencil, prior to using Crayon by going to iPad Settings → Bluetooth → Select the device you want to disconnect. If you do not want to forget other
digital pencils, simply turn your Bluetooth off before using Crayon. Press the power button for 1 second. If the LED turns green, you’re ready to go. If the LED turns red, charge Crayon before use.
SOFTWARE UPDATES
Updating the iOS on your iPad may affect your experience with Crayon. If you notice changes in functionality, simply follow these steps:
- Download the Logitech Crayon software update https://support.logitech.com/product/crayon/downloads
