FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does this system have RCA jacks and HDMI ports?

No, neither RCS jacks nor HDMI ports are present. There is a third PC connection in addition to a coax and optical input (3 wires). I used my Tivo and BlueRay (optical) to run this (with an optical to coax adapter). The Tivo and BlueRay player each had a single HDMI input on the TV.

Can these speakers be connected to a turntable pre-amp?

The control unit for all speakers supports connectivity via optical, coax, and PC. All speakers are connected to the speaker amp, which is located in the subwoofer. Your pre-amp should function if it has optical, coax, or PC.

My motherboard has 5.1 channel output in the form of 3.5mm jacks that come in several colors, including pink, green, black, and orange. Would this work together?

Yes, the controller will accept those inputs, but utilizing the digital output of your card to the digital input of the Logitech controller would be much preferable.

How can I install the speakers on the wall?

Each speaker features 2 tiny holes on the base that make it simple to connect it to the wall using a screw, nail, or other method of your choice.

What is THX Logitech?

More dimensions and sound. With 400 Watts Peak/200 Watts RMS power and THX® certification, your desktop sound system adds depth to music, movies, and gaming. The 0.14 in (3.5 mm) and RCA inputs can be used to connect up to three compatible devices.

Why is the THX sound so loud?

The Deep Note “simply feels loud,” according to Academy Award-winning sound designer Gary Rydstrom, because of the range of frequencies it employs.

How do I activate my Logitech surround sound?

To check that all of your virtual surround sound channels are functioning properly, simply click on “Experience surround sound” and listen to a directional audio sample. You can also independently change the loudness of each of these surround channels here to suit your tastes.

How do I get my TV to play through my surround sound?

Your TV needs to have an audio output if you want to connect it to a surround sound system. This is typically an HDMI ARC connection or an optical digital audio output on contemporary TVs. Once you have located the audio output on your TV, you must connect it to a surround sound-capable audio system.

How do I know if surround sound is working?

First, right-click the taskbar speaker icon and choose “Sounds” from the menu that appears. (Alternatively, you can access the Control Panel by clicking Hardware and Sound > Sound.) Select the “Playback” tab in the window that pops up, then pick the surround sound output device you want to test from the list.

How do I connect my surround sound to my TV without HDMI?

You can use any HDMI converter, composite video cable, 5-cable component RCA video cable, or any RCA audio cable that corresponds to the available input option.

Can I connect speakers directly to my TV?

No, only active speakers with an integrated amplifier can be connected directly to a television. For instance, since the majority of soundbars are active, you can use optical or HDMI ARC to connect them directly to a TV.

Do I plug the speaker in to the input or the output?

When a computer (laptop, smartphone, etc.) is linked to speakers, the computer outputs data for the speakers to hear. As a result, output devices such as speakers, monitors, and loudspeakers are by nature.

Is a surround sound system worth it?

A surround-sound system is probably what you want if you enjoy home theatre. A soundbar, regardless of price, cannot compare to the audio experience provided by a 2.1, 5.1, or an Atmos 5.1. 4-channel setup. Larger and more captivating sound is a benefit that is crucial in spaces of a large size.
