SETUP

For best results, fully charge controller prior to first use.

CHARGING CONTROLLER

  • Using a USB-C Cable connect to the USB-C port at the top of the controller, and connect the other end to any powered USB source.
  • When charging, four LEDs will display the charging level from 25-50-75-100%.

CHARGE LEVEL INDICATOR
Check battery charge level by pressing the Battery Status button ( ) on the front of the controller. The LEDs will indicate the current charge level from 25-100% even when controller is off.

ATTACH AND REMOVE THE GRIP
• • Slide the bottom of the controller into the top of the grip. Press firmly into the grip until the latch attaches to the controller.
• • To remove the controller from the grip: slide the latch, on the bottom of the grip, to the right and pull the controller up.

WIRELESS MODE ANDROID

  • If the controller is off, press the Home button ( ) to turn it on (LED will illuminate).
  • Press and hold the Pair button ( ) on top of the controller for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode (LED will flash rapidly).
  • Enter the Bluetooth settings on your device and choose the MOGA controller. The pairing LED will turn solid when connected.
  • The player indicator LEDs will light up indicating which player number the controller is.

WIRELESS MODE PC BLUETOOTH

  • If the controller is off, press the Home button ( ) to turn it on (LED will illuminate).
  • Press and hold the Pair button ( ) on top of the controller for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode (LED will flash rapidly).
  • Enter the Bluetooth settings on your PC and choose the MOGA controller. The pairing LED will turn solid when connected.
  • The player indicator LEDs will light up indicating which player number the controller is.
  • Some games may require the Microsoft Wireless Adapter to work.

WIRELESS MODE XBOX

  • If the controller is off, press the Home button ( ) to turn it on (LED will illuminate).
  • Press the Pair button on the front of your Xbox Series X|S console.
  • Press and hold the Pair button ( ) on top of the controller until the LED indicator begins to flash.
  • When the LED indicator stops flashing, the controller is connected to your Xbox console.
  • ALTERNATIVE METHOD: Plug the controller into the Xbox console using the USB cable. The controller is now paired wirelessly to the console after unplugging the USB cable.

SWITCH FROM XBOX TO ANDROID DEVICE

  • Press the Pair button (icon) twice to switch to the previously paired device.
    NOTE: A previously paired device will automatically pair to the controller when powered on.

POWERING OFF
Hold the Home button ( ) for 5 seconds to turn the controller off and save battery capacity.

GAMING CLIP
A detachable gaming clip is included for use with gaming on your phone. You can use USB cables with clip attached for charging.

  1. Slide the gaming clip down on the top of the controller until it clicks into place.
  2. There are two adjustable articulation dials on the Mobile Gaming Clip. Rotate dials in opposite directions to loosen and adjust position. Rotate dials back to tighten after reaching desired viewing angle.
  3. To insert phone, push top edge of phone against top of phone grip to expand upward.
  4. Push bottom of phone down flat into place as you reach top limit of phone grip. Adjust phone horizontally as needed to center over controller.
  5. To remove the clip, press the level on the back and slide the clip off.

ASSIGNING THE ADVANCED GAMING BUTTONS

  1. Press the Program Button on the bottom of the controller for 3 seconds. The LED Connection Indicator will flash, signaling the controller is in assign mode.
  2. Press 1 of the following buttons (A/B/X/Y/L1/R1/L2/R2/Left Stick Press/Right Stick Press/D- pad) to re-assign. Then press the Advanced Gaming Button (AGR or AGL) that you wish to assign. The LED connection indicator will stop flashing, signaling the Advanced Gaming Button has been set.
  3. Repeat for the remaining Advanced Gaming Button.
    Note: Advanced Gaming Button assignments will remain in memory even after disconnected.

RESETTING THE ADVANCED GAMING BUTTONS

  1. Hold the Program Button down for 2 seconds. The LED Connection Indicator will slowly flash, signaling the controller is in Assign Mode.
  2. Press the previously assigned Advanced Gaming Button for 5 seconds, and the function will be cleared.

PROBLEM: My controller will not power on.
SOLUTION: Confirm the controller is fully charged by pressing the battery status button ( ) on front lower left of controller. Plug in to recharge as needed.

PROBLEM: I do not see MOGA controller listed in mobile devices Bluetooth settings.
SOLUTION: Press and hold the Bluetooth sync button ( ) on back of controller for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode (LED will flash rapidly).

PROBLEM: The integrated power bank is not functioning.
SOLUTION: Confirm the controller has more than 25% charge and Power Bank button is switched on.

BATTERY WARNING

  • Do not attempt to repair the Li-ion battery yourself—you may damage the battery, which could cause overheating, fire, and injury.
  • The Lithium-ion battery in your device should be serviced or recycled by PowerA or an authorized provider and must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Dispose of batteries according to your local environmental laws and guidelines.
  • Do not use or leave a device containing Li-Ion batteries in a high-temperature environment (e.g., in strong direct sunlight, or in a vehicle in hot weather). High temperatures may cause batteries to overheat or catch fire, and the battery performance or longevity may be negatively affected.
  • Do not use a device containing Li-Ion batteries in an environment with high levels of static electricity. Excessive static electricity can impair the batteries’ internal safety measures, increasing the risk of overheating or fire.
  • If the battery gives off an odor, generates heat, or in any way appears abnormal during use, recharging or storage, immediately remove it from any charging device and place it in a sealed fireproof container such as a metal box, or in a safe location away from people and flammable items.
  • Discarded batteries may cause fire. Do not heat the controller or battery, or place either in or near fire.

BATTERY LEAKAGE WARNING

  • Leakage of chemicals contained within the battery pack can cause personal injury as well as damage to game controller.
  • Avoid allowing battery chemicals to contact skin. If contact occurs, immediately wash thoroughly with soap and water.
  • If liquid leaking from a battery pack comes into contact with your eyes, DO NOT RUB EYES! Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with clean running water and seek medical attention to prevent injury to eyes.

MOTION WARNING
Playing video games can make your muscles, joints, skin or eyes hurt. Follow these instructions to avoid problems such as tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, skin irritation or eyestrain:

  • Avoid excessive play. Take a 10- to 15-minute break every hour, even if you don’t think you need it. Parents should monitor their children for appropriate play.
  • If your hands, wrists, arms or eyes become tired or sore while playing, or if you feel symptoms such as tingling, numbness, burning or stiffness, stop and rest for several hours before playing again.
  • If you continue to have any of the above symptoms or other discomfort during or after play, stop playing and see a doctor.
