Installation

Installation

  1. Download installed package DonnerSynths
  2. Double click DonnerSynths_V[x.x.x].exe to install
  3. Quit DonnerSynths if it is running before installation
  4. Select installation mode: Install for All Users or Install for Me , program installation language and directory
  5. Select Create Desktop Shortcut if needed, click Install and wait installation finished

Running Program

  1. Plug in the Power-Cord with Midi device and turn the power on.
  2. Connect the device and computer with a USB cable.
  3. Click menu Start from your PC, and select DonnerSynths to start the program.

The devices page shows all devices and their connected status supported by DonnerSynths .

  1. If there is no green badge at the top right, it indicates that this type of device is available, but this type of device is not connected at the moment

The modified configuration take effect immediately and cancellation is impossible Select Restore Factory Settings will reset all parameters to their default state

Each column in the Sequencer Editor represents 1/4 beat.

Sequencer Editor

Each row in the Sequencer Editor represents a Note, based on the piano keyboard
Each column in the Sequencer Editor represents 1/4 beat.
Features

  • Create Note Double click on the blank cell in the Sequencer Editor table to create the note.
  • Modify Play Time of Note Move cursor to the right edge of a yellow note, when the cursor becomes , press and hold the left mouse button to move left and right to modify the value. The range 1 ~ 8.
  • Modify Press and Hold Time Move cursor to the top edge of a yellow note, when the cursor becomes , press and hold the left mouse button to move up and down to modify the value. The range 1 ~ 127
  • Delete Note Click a note or press and drag the left mouse in a blank area of the Sequencer Editor to select a note. When the selected note becomes sky blue, press DEL on the keyboard to delete a note.
  • Move Note Press and drag a yellow note and move it to any other place.
  • Modify Other Note Arguments Press the right mouse button on the cell of a note and a context menu will show up to allow you to modify the play arguments of each note.
    • Gate Length: Play duration

Note:

Sequencer editor is available only forDonner B1
The max note count in one beat for Donner B1 is 1. Out of max note limit! will show up when trying to add more than one note or move a note to column which already has notes
Product of Donner B1 has no pressure sensor which will ignore the argument Press and Hold Time

Update

Firmware upgrade for midi devices:

Features

  • Current version shows the current firmware version of the device.
  • The latest version V [x.x.x] shows the available latest version. It will display Already the latest version if the device has upgraded to the latest firmware version.
  • Click Update to the latest version to upgrade the firmware version.
