Product Description

The Home Smart MOES Home Fan Light Switch Module is a WiFi+RF enabled device that allows you to control your fan, light, or other appliances wirelessly. It is designed for use with a 200-240V AC power supply and is compatible with tungsten lamps, LED lamps, and fans. The switch module supports Wi-Fi 2.4G, Bluetooth, and RF433MHz transmission frequencies. It can be controlled through the MOES App, which offers various features such as scene control, Siri compatibility, widgets, and scene recommendations.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Installation:
   • Step 1: Turn off the circuit breaker and use an electrical tester to ensure the power is off.
   • Step 2: Remove the existing switch and pull it away from the wall.
   • Step 3: Take pictures of the wiring for reference.
   • Step 4: Follow the wiring diagram to connect the switch wires to the wires in the wall box.
   • Attention: Disconnect the power supply before installing or removing the device to avoid damage or safety issues.
2. Preparation for Use:
   • Download the MOES App from the App store or scan the provided QR code.
   • Register or log in to the MOES App.
3. APP device configuration:
   • Method One: Scan the provided QR code to configure the network guide.
   • Please connect the device according to the configuration process.
   • Method Two: Bluetooth Mode Configuration
   1. Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth is enabled.
   2. Power on the device and press and hold the device reset button for more than 7 seconds until you hear the buzzer or see the load light breathing indication.
   3. Open the MOES App and click “Add Device” on the Home page. The App will automatically search for nearby devices.
   4. Once the App discovers the device, click “Add” and enter the Wi-Fi password. Click “Next” and wait for the connection to be completed.
   5. After successfully adding the device, you can edit the name of the device and enjoy your application lighting automation.

Warnings:

Turn off the power at the circuit breaker and test that power is off before wiring.

Installation

Note:

• Make sure that the power at the circuit breaker is off before wiring.
• Neutral Wire is required.Confirm the wall box contains a Neutral Wire(typically white).If the wall box don’t have a Neutral Wire,please try another location at your home or call a professional electrician to install the switch.
• The wire colors indicated in this manual are the usual colors and may differ in some houses.
• Ensure the wire conductors are securely fastened to each wire.
• Ensure the Wi-Fi signal is steady and normally working before wiring.
• If you don’t have any wiring experience, please call a professional electrician.

Step 1

• Turn off the circuit breaker and use the electrical tester to test the power.
• Ensure the circuit breaker is off before wiring.

Attention:
Please disconnect the power supply before installing or removing the device for avoiding irreversible damage on the device from the electric current or some unpredictable problems such as lamp flashing.

Step 2
Remove the switch and pull it away from the wall.Identify Line/Load Wire(Note:The color of your wire may be different from the color shown on the manual.)

Step 3

• Take pictures of the wiring
• Follow the wiring diagram to connect the switch wires to the wires in the wall box with the wire conductors.

Step 4

• Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and then switch the light on.

MOES App is upgraded as much more compatibility than Tuya Smart/Smart Life App, functional well for scene controlled by Siri, widget and scene recommendations as the fully new customized service.
(Note: Tuya Smart/Smart Life App still works, but MOES App is highly recommended)

Registration or Log in

APP device

Method One:
Scan the QR code to configure the network guide.

Please connect the device according to the configuration process.

Method Two:Bluetooth Mode Configuration

1. Make sure your phone is connected to 2.4G Wi-Fi and the Bluetooth is enabled.
2. Power on the device, press and hold the device reset button for more than 7 seconds, until you hear the buzzer beeping continuously or the load light breathing indication, and successfully enter the distribution network/reset.
3. Open MOES App and Click“ Add Device” on the page of Home and the App will searching for nearby devices automatically. Once the App discovers the device, click“ Add”. The App will direct you to the Add Device page. Enter Wi-Fi Password and click “Next”,waiting for the connection completed.
4. Successfully add the device, you can edit the name of the device, click “to enter the device to enjoy your application lighting automation.

Resetting method

1. Long press the device button above 7s, until I hear the bee twee issued “di di di …..” or the load light breathing instructions, successfully entered the distribution network/reset.
2. Long press the remote control “distribution network button” above 7s until I hear the bee tweet emitting “di di di …..” or the load light breathing instructions, and successfully entered the distribution network/reset. (The condition must be a remote control that has been matched)

RF matching method

1. You need to complete the network first, then power off the device, and then power on. Long press the first button of the RF remote control until you hear the bee “Didi” or the load light breathing instructions, and the pairing is successful. (Only the electricity 30s is the pairing period)

How to connect Smart device to Amazon Alexa.

1. Launch MOES App, sign into your account and makesure Smart device is on the device list.
2. Minimize MOES App, then launch the Alexa App and sign in your Alexa account and make sure you have at least one Alexa smart speaker-controlled device installed like Echo dot, etc.
3. In the upper left corner of Home page, press the button to show APP Menu. Then select in the menu.
4. Type in “ MOES “in the search and press the search button next to it.
5. Enable MOES Smart Skill then sign in your SmartLife account to complete your account set up.
6. Once your account has been successfully linked, askAlexa to discover devices. After a 20-second searching, Alexa will show all the available devices
7. In the Smart Home page, you can group your devices in different categories. Your MOES APP has now been paired with Alexa. Now you can control your Smart device through Alexa.
