Product Description: Catcher Kit for Blown Fibre Installations
Application The Hexatronic calibration dart receiver (catcher) is deployedduring the calibration of the duct integrity. It is used with the pressure gun attached to the compressor and air hose of the micro duct under test. The kit is optimized for micro duct installations and includes a blown fiber inflator with an airflow gauge for measuring the micro duct integrity and identifying air leaks. It also includes a heavy-duty catcher for use on blown fibre installations to catch calibrator pellets and clean sponges.

Design The calibrator test confirms the minimum internal dimensions along
the micro duct route. The dart is designed to be halted should it be subjected
to bad couplers, crushed duct, and tight bend radius.
The 10mm adaptor can be adapted to fit other tube diameters by using reducing
adaptors. The adaptor should be used in conjunction with the supplied end
caps.

Product Usage Instructions
- Attach the pressure gun to the compressor and connect the air hose to the micro duct under test.
- Ensure that the blown fiber inflator with the air flow gauge is properly connected to the micro duct.
- Use the blown fiber inflator to measure the micro duct integrity and identify any air leaks. Refer to the airflow gauge for accurate measurements.
- During blown fiber installations, use the heavy-duty catcher included in the kit to catch calibrator pellets and cleaning sponges.
- If using a tube diameter other than 10mm, adapt the 10mm adaptor by using reducing adaptors to fit the desired tube diameter.
- Always use the supplied end caps in conjunction with the adaptor for proper installation.
