IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are closely supervised and instructed concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or oven in water or other liquid.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning appliance and putting on or taking off parts. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- To disconnect, turn all controls to OFF ( ); then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Use extreme caution when removing pan or disposing of hot grease.
- Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating a risk of electrical shock.
- Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in an oven as they may create a fire or risk of electrical shock.
- A fire may occur if toaster oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, overhead cabinets, paper or plastic products, cloth towels, and the like, when in operation.
- Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of materials other than metal or glass.
- Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer-recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
- Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic, and the like.
- Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the oven.
- To turn oven off, turn timer to OFF ( ) position. See “Parts and Features” section.
- Do not place eyes or face in close proximity with tempered safety glass door, in the event that the safety glass breaks.
- Always use appliance with crumb tray securely inthe closed and locked position.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Clean oven interior carefully. Do not scratch ordamage heating element tube.
- Do not operate unattended.
- Do not operate the appliance by means of anexternal timer or separate remote-control system.
- CAUTION: HOT SURFACE.The temperature of accessible surfacesmay be high when the appliance isoperating.

This appliance is intended for household use only.
WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard: This appliance has a polarized plug (one wide blade) that reduces the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by using an adapter. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, have an electrician replace the outlet. The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance. Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over. This appliance is equipped with a fully tempered safety glass door. The tempered glass is four times stronger than ordinary glass and more resistant to breakage. Tempered glass can break; however, it breaks into pieces with no sharp edges. Care must be taken to avoid scratching door surface or nicking edges. Before first use: Most heating appliances produce an odor and/or smoke when used for the first time. Plug Toaster Oven into an outlet. Turn Function/Temp Knob to 450°F (230°C). Heat at this temperature for 10 minutes. Odor should not be present after this initial preheating. Wash Baking/Broiling Pan and Mesh Rack before using.

NOTE: Do not leave appliance unattended when in operation.
STAY ON Function: The Oven can be set to stay on by turning Timer to STAY ON while pressing and holding buttons on side of Dial.
NOTE: Timer can be set up to 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, Timer will sound and Toaster Oven will turn off. If additional cook time is needed, reset Timer. If cooking is complete before 30 minutes, Timer Knob can be turned to “ ” to turn off.
Mesh Rack Options for Air Fry, Toast, Bake, and Broil
- Place food in Mesh Rack.
- Add food to Baking/Broiling Pan and place on Mesh Rack.
- If cooking food that will be juicy or will drip, like wings, burgers, or ribs, slide Baking/Broiling Pan under Mesh Rack to use as a drip tray.
Air Fry Mode
Use Air Fry Mode to crisp foods using little added oil. Foods may need to be flipped, stirred, or rotated halfway through cooking. Air Fry Mode cooks and browns evenly by circulating forced hot air, which crisps food. For faster cooking, preheat Oven to reduce cooking time. Rack position used to air fry depends on the size of the food to be cooked. Check food for doneness before recommended packaging cook time.
- Plug into outlet.
- Add food to Mesh Rack and slide Mesh Rack into top rack position. Make sure food is at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) from heating element. Insert Baking/Broiling Pan under Mesh Rack when cooking juicy/fatty foods that may drip.
- Turn Function/Temperature Knob to AIR FRY ( ) position.
- Rotate Timer Knob clockwise past 10, then to desired cooking time; or rotate counterclockwise to STAY ON while pressing and holding buttons on side of Knob.
- If time is selected, Timer will sound when selected time is complete. If STAY ON is selected, rotate Timer Knob to OFF ( ) to end cycle at any time.
Simply-Crisp® Air Frying Tips From Our Test Kitchen:
- Simply-Crisp® Air Fry Mode may require more cooking time than standalone air fryers.
- Use Baking/Broiling Pan on rack under Mesh Rack when cooking juicy/fatty foods that may drip.
- Cut uniform-sized pieces and arrange in single, even layer in Mesh Rack
- Most foods (larger/thicker) may need to be flipped, stirred, or rotated during cooking.
- Breadcrumbs make crunchy air-fried coatings. Avoid sauces or batters.
- Use top rack position for most foods. Keep at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) between food and heating elements.
- Do not line Mesh Rack; this blocks airflow. Do line Baking/Broiling Pan under Mesh Rack for easy cleanup.
- Preheat Oven for shorter cook times/improved crispness.
- A light spritz of cooking oil before cooking provides crispier texture, especially for fresh foods.
- Review food packaging-suggested cook times and adjust time for desired crispness.
- Avoid opening Oven door while cooking frozen foods like French fries or chicken nuggets until cooking cycle is nearly done.
- Check food for desired doneness before end of cooking cycle. Add or reduce cooking time as needed.
Toast Mode
WARNING Fire Hazard.
- If contents ignite, keep door closed and unplug oven. Allow contents to stop burning and cool.
- Do not leave unattended while in use.
- Read and understand all safety instructions and Important Safeguards before use.
- Always unplug toaster oven when not in use.
IMPORTANT: Function/Temperature Knob must be in TOAST ( ) position or unit may not toast properly.Use for browning and toasting breads, bagels, and English muffins. Place on Mesh Rack with cut/split side up in bottom rack position for even toasting on both sides. Check bread often to ensure preferred shade/doneness.
- Set Function/Temperature Knob to TOAST ( ).
- Rotate Toast Shade Selector/Timer Knob past 10 and thenback to desired toast color ( =lightest to =darkest).
- Bell will sound at end of toasting cycle.
NOTE: To stop during a toasting cycle, turn Toast Shade Selector/Timer Knob to OFF ( ).
Toasting Tips:
- When making more than one batch of toast, Toast Shade Selector should be set to a lighter color on second batch to getsame shade as first.
- For even browning, place bread in center of Mesh Rack.
- To toast regular toaster pastry, frozen pastry, or waffles, select a light color and toast directly in Mesh Rack. If pastry has a glazeor frosting, use Baking/Broiling Pan.
- Number of slices of bread, bread freshness, and starting temperature of Oven will affect toast color.
Bake Mode
WARNING Fire Hazard.
- If contents ignite, keep door closed and unplug oven. Allow contents to stop burning and cool.
- Do not leave unattended while in use.
- Read and understand all safety instructions and Important Safeguards before use.
- Always unplug toaster oven when not in use.
IMPORTANT: Preheat Oven before baking. Select Mesh Rack position based on size and thickness of food you are baking.
- Set Function/Temperature Knob to desired baking temperature. Rotate Timer Knob past 10 and then back to 5 to preheat Oven for 5 minutes before beginning to bake.
- After Oven is preheated, slide Mesh Rack into desired rack position. Baking/Broiling Pan can slide under Mesh Rack or be placed on top of Mesh Rack. Recommendations: For foods that may stick or catch inMesh Rack, place Baking/Broiling Pan on top of Mesh Rack. Insert Baking/Broiling Pan under Mesh Rack when cooking juicy/fatty foods that may drip.
- Set Timer to desired time by rotating it past 10 and thento desired baking time. Indicator Light will come on and Oven will begin baking.
- When finished cooking, turn Oven OFF ( ) if time is not complete, or is in STAY ON mode.
Baking Tips:
- Most foods should be baked according to package or recipe directions. Watch carefully and adjust time or temperature if necessary.
- For baked potatoes, bake at 425°F (220°C) for 1 hour or until done.
Broil Mode
WARNING Fire Hazard.
- If contents ignite, keep door closed and unplug oven. Allow contents to stop burning and cool.
- Do not leave unattended while in use.
- Read and understand all safety instructions and Important Safeguards before use.
- Always unplug toaster oven when not in use. Use to brown foods such as beef, chicken, fish, pork, and casseroles, or to toast on one side. Always allow at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) between food and heating element. Select Mesh Rack position based on size and thickness of food you are broiling.
- Slide Mesh Rack into desired position. Baking/Broiling Pan can slide under Mesh Rack or be placed on top of Mesh Rack. Recommendations: For foods that may stick or catch in Mesh Rack, place Baking/ Broiling Pan on top of Mesh Rack. Insert Baking/Broiling Pan under Mesh Rack when cooking juicy/fatty foods that may drip.
- Set Function/Temperature Knob to BROIL ( ).
- Set Timer to desired time by rotating it past 10 and then to desired broiling time. Indicator Light will come on. Only top heating element will come on during broil function.
- Halfway through cooking time, or when food has browned, turn food over to brown and cook other side.
- When finished cooking, turn Oven OFF ( ) if time is not complete, or is in STAY ON mode.
Broiling Tips:
- For best results, DO NOT PREHEAT when broiling.
- Test foods for safe internal cooking temperature using a meat thermometer. Visit foodsafety.gov for more information on safe internal cooking temperatures.
Care and Cleaning
WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard.
- Failure to clean oven interior regularly may result in fire hazards.
- Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off pad and touch electrical parts, causing a risk ofelectrical shock.
For best performance and long life, clean Toaster Oven regularly.
- Unplug the Oven and allow to cool.
- Wash the Mesh rack in hot, soapy water. If food is stuck to Mesh Rack, soak in hot, soapy water for 20-30 minutes. Rinse and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
- To clean the inside of Oven, wipe Oven walls, bottom of Oven, and glass door with a damp, soapy cloth. Repeat with a damp, clean cloth. For stubborn stains, use a plastic scouring pad.
- To clean the inside of the glass door, use a razor blade to gently lift baked-on foods. Spray glass cleaner on cloth to clean, and wipe with a damp sponge to rinse. Dry with a clean, dry cloth. Never use a razor blade on outside of Oven door, since this will remove door graphics.
- To clean the outside of Oven, wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers.
To Clean Crumb Tray:
- Remove Baking/Broiling Pan and Mesh Rack from Oven.
- Tilt Oven back. Push handle back andthen down to unlock Crumb Tray.
- Gently shake crumbs out of Tray and wipe with a damp, clean cloth.
NOTE: Crumb Tray is not removable.
Troubleshooting
Toaster Oven will not heat.
- Make sure electrical outlet is working and Oven isplugged in.
- Set Function/Temperature Knob to 350°F (175°C).
- Turn Timer Knob to set desired cooking time. (ONIndicator Light should now be lit.)
Toaster Oven will not toast.
- Make sure electrical outlet is working and Oven isplugged in. (Indicator Light should now be lit.)
- Set Function/Temperature Knob to TOAST ( ).
- Select toast color.
- The oven will not toast properly unless Function/Temperature Knob is set to TOAST ( ).
Moisture forms on the inside of Oven door when toasting.
- This is normal when toasting in a toaster oven. Moisture is slower to escape from a toaster oven than from a toaster. The amount of moisture will differ between fresh bread, bagels, and frozen pastries.
An odor and smoke come from Oven.
- Smoke and odor are normal during the first use of most heating appliances. These will not be present after initial heating period.
Some foods burn and some are not done.
- Choose a rack position that centers food in Oven.
- Adjust the Oven temperature or cooking time for best results in your recipes.
Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition. This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is the replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is unavailable, we will replace it with a similar one of equal or greater value. This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.
