Instructions for Use and Cleaning

Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing our product and trusting us! We hope that everything is in ideal condition and that you are satisfied with the product. Before using it, please ensure that it has been assembled and installed according to the provided instructions.

Safety Regulations
Stepping or climbing on the devices is strictly prohibited as it can cause damage or breakage. Despite their robust appearance, the weight-bearing capacity depends on the gripping system. Burr plate ends may occur on the lower or inner parts of the units, which can cause cutting damage. While they do not pose a danger during normal use, they require careful cleaning.

Product Use
Before using the hand sink, remove the protective film from the device. If you did not order the unit with a factory faucet, refer to the installed water treatment instructions for using the faucet. The manufacturer equips their products with two types of taps, each suitable for different purposes.

Faucet Types:

  1. Faucet Type A: [Description of faucet type A and its use]
  2. Faucet Type B: [Description of faucet type B and its use]

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Italian IPA products are from a family-run stainless steel factory, manufactured with the most modern metalworking machines, under conditions that meet the requirements of the European Union. Thanks to this production process, we can find solutions for the products that make everyday use and cleaning much easier. Such are the various sinks, hand wash basins, and sprinkler rims produced by deep drawing. The products are made of stainless steel KO33 (DIN1.4301). These are colloquially known as 18/10 steel. From our previous experience, we know that in Hungary it is common to call this material acid-resistant. ATTENTION! KO33 (also known as 18/10) stainless steel is only slightly resistant to acids and alkalis! Do not use caustic cleaning agents to clean this material, as they can seriously damage the surface.

SAFETY REGULATIONS

  • Stepping, or climbing on the devices is strictly prohibited because it could damage or break them.
  • Despite their robust appearance, their ability to carry this kind of weight always depends on the particular gripping system.
  • Despite the greatest care during production, it is possible for burr plate ends to occur on the lower or inner parts of the units, which can cause cutting damage. They don’t mean a danger by functional use but require care during cleaning.

USE

Before use, remove the protective folie from the device. In case you did not order the unit with a factory faucet, refer to the installed water treatment instructions for the use of the faucet. Ipa products are equipped by the manufacturer with two types of taps. Different taps are installed for different types. Below you can see a brief description of the two faucets and their uses.

For products with the item numbers IPA30, IPA31, and IPA32: If you ordered the hand washer with a factory-fitted water tap, a knee lever was installed on your device with which you can handle the water. If there is separate hot and cold water on the wall outlet, a pre-mixing valve is connected in front of the knee lever. Cold and hot water are connected in this pre-mixer with flexible pipes. With the two black adjustment levers on the pre-mixer, you can individually regulate the water pressure and the desired temperature of the mixed water.

The knee lever opens and directs the water to any lateral movement as long as the knee lever is maintained in this inclined state. As soon as you release the knee lever, it returns to the starting position and the water stops. The knee lever mounts on the wall at such a height that the user can comfortably tilt it with their thigh. In this way, you can use the hand cleaner completely hygienically without touching the device with your hands. The manufacturer produces the devices exclusively for the function of washing hands. All basins are bowl-shaped or curved and, therefore cannot be used for other functions.

IPA67, IPA73, IPA74, IPA75, IPA76, IPA79, IPA80 These devices also have a factory pre-mixing valve, which can be used to regulate the water temperature, if there is a separate cold and hot water outlet for the device. In the case of wall-mounted devices, you can access the pre-mixing valve adjustment button from the bottom, while in the case of pedestal hand wash basins, you can access it from the lower cabinet. Cold and hot water are connected to the pre- mixing valve with flexible pipes. On the valve, you will find a rotary knob, that indicates which direction you can set the mixing to be hotter or colder. On the front cover of the hand-washing device, you will find a large metal push button in a plastic frame. The push button can be operated with your knee so that you can use the device without manual contact. Press the button until it clicks, then release. The faucet provides water for approximately 6-12 seconds. The time also depends on the set water temperature, the colder the water, the longer it takes.

CLEANING

The wall-mounted and free-standing hand basins are made entirely of stainless steel. They are also suitable for sprinkling or high-pressure washing. Be sure to use only cleaning chemicals that are suitable for KO33 or stainless materials. After cleaning, always wipe the surface dry with paper or a cloth to prevent spots from forming when drying. Do not use a scrubbing brush or sponge as this may damage the surface. Do not use aggressive degreasers. Do not use granular creams as they may scratch the surface. Be sure to use the appropriate protective equipment, and read the guidelines for the chemicals you want to use.
