3 PRODUKTSICHERHEITSHINWEISE /PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION

When setting up the product, ensure that it is stable and assemble it according to the instruc- tions in the manual.

Intended use of the machine

Use as a garden bed with corresponding infill on a solid / stable and leveled surface.

4 MONTAGE / ASSEMBLY

Always note visible transport damages on the delivery note and check the product immedi- ately after unpacking for transport damage or missing or damaged parts. Report any damage to the product or missing parts immediately to your retailer or freight forwarder

 Required assembly aids/materials

Safety gloves, screwdriver, if necessary cordless screwdriver with appropriate bit insert for assembling the screws, spirit level and one person as a helper, optional rodent protection/mesh as a base.

H I N W E I S / N O T I C E

To avoid damage (scratches) during assembly, please use suitable underlays on which to place the individual parts.

Assembly of connectors on side part (long)

Attach the corner connectors (3) to the end faces of a long side panel (2) as shown.
NOTE: Make sure that the entire side engages and then apply the corner connector (3) as far as it will go. Then fix the corner connectors with screws (5).
Repeat the same procedure for the second side panel.

Assembling the short side parts.

Place the assembly group from assembly step 1 on a suitable underlay to avoid damage and insert the two short side parts into the corner connectors.
NOTE: Make sure that the entire side engages and then apply the side parts (1) as far as it will go. Then fix the side parts in place using screws (5).

Assembling the corner covers

Place the corner covers and assemble them on the corners (1-4) using the two screws (5). For as- sembling on the corners (5-8) on the lower side, turn the garde bed by 180° by means of help of a
second person.

5 BETRIEB / OPERATION

Please choose a level and stable surface to place the garden bed on. Check the leveling with a spirit level and correct any deviations. Note: Depending on the surface, it is recommended to use a rodent protection (e.g. for installation on a earth ground) (not included in delivery). A second person is required for transport to the installation site due to the weight of the product. Please ensure the correct body posture when lifting, carrying and setting down the load.

Lifting/lowering
  • Establish stability when lifting/lowering (legs hip-width apart).
  • Lift/set down load with knees bent and back
  • Do not lift/set down load
Carry
  • Carry load with both hands as close to body as
  • Carry load with straight

5.2 operation

Filling: In order to provide optimum conditions for your plants, a garden bed is created layer by layer in a specific sequence. This allows nutrients to be gradually released to the plants over a period of several years. The following is a proven sequence of layers:

  • Bottom layer (layer 1): Solid wood such as branches, twigs,
  • Layer (2) Light organic waste such as leaves, cut grass
  • Layer (3) Compost and/or manure
  • Layer (4) High quality garden soil

6  REINIGUNG / CLEANING

The use of solvents, aggressive chemicals or abrasive cleaners leads to material damage to the
product or can injure or kill the animals by feeding! Therefore: When cleaning, use only water and, if necessary, mild cleaning agents that are permitted for food use.

SPARE PARTS

Observe the national waste disposal regulations. Never dispose of the machine, machine com- ponents or equipment in residual waste. If necessary, contact your local authorities for information on the disposal options available. If you buy a new machine or an equivalent device from your specialist dealer, he is obliged in certain countries to dispose of your old machine properly.
