Description: The Raclette Grill is designed for groups of up to eight people. It features non-stick surfaces and allows for cooking raclette cheese and accompaniments at the same time on the grill plates and grill stone.

Product Usage Instructions

Before Using for the First Time:

  1. Heat the product for about 10 minutes without placing any food on it. This is to remove any manufacturing residues. The product may emit a slight smell and smoke during this process, which is normal. Ensure good ventilation while doing this.

Grilling:

  1. Preheat the Raclette Grill for a few minutes.
  2. Place the food on the grill plates and grill stone.
  3. Cook the food according to your desired doneness.
  4. Season the food to taste.
  5. The cooking time depends on the type and thickness of the food.

Oven Baking:

  1. Place the food in a suitable oven-safe dish.
  2. Put the dish under the grill plates and grill stone.
  3. When the food reaches the desired color, remove the dish from under the grill.

Place the food in a mini pan and place the mini pan under the grill plate. Remove the mini pan when the food starts to brown.

Maintenance:

  1. Allow the grill plates and dishes to cool down before cleaning.
  2. Clean the grill plates and dishes according to the provided recommendations.
    • Pull out the plug and wait until the product has cooled down completely before cleaning.
    • Wash the grill plate and mini pans in hot water and washing-up liquid. Rinse and wipe dry thoroughly. Do not use sharp objects or metal utensils that could damage the non-stick coating.
    • Clean the outside of the product with a soft, damp cloth and then wipe it dry. Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid. Do not use abrasive detergents or objects that could damage the product.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions carefully before use.

  • Check that the mains voltage matches the rated voltage on the type plate.
  • Do not allow children to use the product. Never leave the product unattended when switched on. Store the product out of the reach of children.
  • The product is only intended for household use. Do not use the product outdoors.
  • Parts of the product get hot when in use – risk of burns.
  • Keep the power cord and product away from hot surfaces and open flames.
  • Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop.
  • Do not touch the product, power cord or plug with wet hands.
  • Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
  • Make sure that air can circulate freely on all sides of the product to ensure adequate cooling. Do not use the product near flammable materials. Do not cover the product.
  • Do not use the product near flammable liquids or gases.
  •  Do not use abrasive detergents or implements to clean the product as this can loosen fragments of metal which may then come into contact with the electrical parts of the product and cause it to short circuit.
  • Switch off the product in the following situations.
    • Malfunction during use.
    • Before maintenance.
    • Before fitting or removing accessories.
    • Before pulling out the plug.
    • After use.
  • Check that the extension cord, if used, is in good condition.
  • Never switch off the product by pulling out the plug.
  • Do not use the product if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug are damaged. Take the product to an authorised service centre, or other qualified personnel, to be checked and repaired.
  • Incorrect repairs can pose a risk of injury/death or damage to property.
  • The manufacturer cannot accept liability for any damage resulting from incorrect use or failure to follow these instructions.
  • Furthermore, incorrect use or failure to follow these instructions will invalidate the warranty.
  • Pull out the plug before cleaning and when the product is not in use.
  • The product is not intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional disorders, or by persons who do not have sufficient experience or knowledge of how to use it, unless they have received instructions concerning the use of the product from someone who is responsible for their safety.
  • Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product.
  • The surface of the product gets hot during use.
  • The product is not intended to be controlled by an external timer or a separate remote control.
  • The product gets hot when in use. Do not touch hot parts – risk of burns.
  • This product may be used by children aged 8 years or over and by people with reduced or impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they have been instructed regarding the safe use of the product, are supervised, and understand the hazards involved. Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children under 8 years of age. Children over 8 can clean or maintain the product under supervision.
  • Keep the product and power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.
  • The product is intended for household use, or for use in staff rooms, hotel rooms and similar places.
  • Place the product against a wall when using it.

WARNING:
The surface of the product gets hot during use – risk of burns. Handle the product with care. Use oven gloves or similar protection and only hold the pans by the handles. Allow the product to cool down completely before touching any parts of the product.
NOTE:
A damaged power cord or plug must be replaced by an authorised service centre or other qualified personnel to ensure safe use.

USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

  2. Let the grill plate and mini pans cool down before cleaning them as instructed.

HOW TO USE

Grilling

  1. Plug in to the wall socket.
  2. Lightly grease the grill plate and mini pans with butter or cooking oil.
  3. Cut the food into small pieces to reduce cooking time.
  4.  Season to taste.
  5. The cooking time depends on the type and thickness of the food. For best results, turn the food from time to time while it is grilling until ready.
  6. Do not use sharp objects or metal utensils that could damage the non-stick coating.

To melt the cheese, place a piece of cheese in a mini pan and place the mini pan under the grill plate.
