What This Warranty Covers

Project Source warrants its kitchen cabinetry products to be free from substantial defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the original date of purchase under normal home use. This warranty is offered only to the original consumer purchaser and may not be transferred. Original consumer purchaser means the person who owns and occupies the home in which the product is initially installed, or who purchases the home from the builder/contractor/developer and is the first occupant of that home. The manufacturer is only responsible for the actual purchase price.

How Long the Warranty Lasts

Coverage for all wall cabinets, base cabinets, pantry cabinets, door fronts, drawer fronts, shelves, cover panels, fillers, mouldings, hinges and drawer parts are warranted to the original purchaser for 1 year from the original date of purchase. This warranty is not transferable.

What Project Source Will Do Under the Warranty

During the warranty period, Project Source at its discretion, will repair or replace any part or product that proves to  have substantial defects in materials or workmanship, or Project Source will provide an equivalent replacement product. Project Source reserves the right to change specifications in design and materials without notice and with no obligation to replace products that were previously manufactured. If a warranty claim is filed for an obsolete product, and Project Source elects to repair or replace the non-conforming obsolete product, Project Source reserves the  right, at its soption, to honor its repair or replacement obligations under this warranty by either: 1) replacing the  affected component with a new component of the same style or approximate color; or 2) replacing the affected component and any other component(s) to achieve a uniform appearance with a similar and comparable product style or approximate color of the originally purchased style. If components are replaced or repaired, Project Source cannot guarantee that the finish or color of these replacements or repaired product will exactly match the finish and appearance of other product installed at the premises. This is due to the changes that occur during the cabinetry’s natural aging process, mentioned below, affecting its color and grain.

Implied Warranties

Manufacturing, Natural Characteristics, Aging, Appearing in Printed Materials and Cleaning
Because of the varying natural characteristics of wood and the effects of aging, product shown in displays and/or printed materials (such as product photos printed in brochures, flyers, catalogs, etc.) will not be an exact match to the cabinetry you will receive. Sunlight, smoke, and other environmental conditions may also affect the color and integrity of the product finish or appearance over time. These variations are considered to be the nature of the materials in relation to their environmental exposure and are not covered under this warranty. In addition, you should not expect all doors, drawer fronts, cover panels, trim or moulding to match exactly in either finish or grain. Variation in wood grain is normal and unavoidable. Some household cleaners and other substances may also affect the color and integrity of the product’s finish or appearance. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, cleaners that contain chlorine, acidic cleaners, and scuffing sponges or steel wool as they may scratch and affect the color or finish of the products. Any such effects on the color and/or integrity of the finish or appearance over time are not covered by this warranty.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty and any applicable implied warranties do not cover incidental or consequential damages arising from any defects in the product such as labour charges for installation or removal of the product or any associated products. Project Source is not responsible for any installation charges. This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by normal wear and tear, alterations, environmental conditions, humidity absorption, or mold. In addition, variations in wood grain, finish color or ageing are not considered defects and are not covered by this warranty.
