RIGID 2021+ Ford F-150 Dual Fog Mount Kit

IMPORTANT

THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING RIGID INDUSTRIES PRODUCTS FOR YOUR VEHICLE. Please read through all of these Instructions and tips before proceeding with the installation. We do our best to provide a simple installation process for all applications however a professional installation is always recommended. Always disconnect any power sources connected to your vehicle before servicing fuses or electrical systems.

INSTALLATION

• STEP: 1
  Remove the two circled fasteners on the inside of each wheel well holding the lower grill trim in place then carefully pull the trim piece away from the wheel well on both sides. Once both sides are free, carefully pull on the front of the trim piece until it releases from the clips

• STEP: 2
  Using an 8mm socket, remove the circled bolt on either side of the grill.

• STEP: 3
  With the hood open, use a plastic trim tool to remove the plastic fasteners from the radiator cover, remove the radiator cover, and set it aside. Disconnect the shutter body, forward-facing camera (if equipped), and windshield wiper hose (if equipped) using a plastic trim tool. Pry the harness clip from the top of the shutter housing using the plastic trim tool and place wires away from the grille.

• STEP: 4
  Using a 10mm socket, remove the four upper grill bolts. Pull the grille away from the truck and carefully set to the side.

• STEP: 5
  Directly under the grille, there is a wire harness along the lower air dam. Using the trim tool, remove the circled harness clips. Disconnect the two connectors that need to be removed for the bumper to come free of the vehicle.

• STEP: 6
  Using a 21mm socket remove the three bumper mounting nuts on both sides of the vehicle. Using an assistant, carefully remove the bumper from the vehicle and place is face down on a soft work surface to avoid scratching the paint.

• STEP: 7
  Disconnect and electrical connectors at each end of the lower valence assembly. Using the trim tool, remove all harness clips that attach the wiring to the valence assembly. Using a 13mm socket, remove the three mountingbolts on both ends of the bumper. Carefully remove the valence assembly from the bumper and set it aside, making sure to remove any additional wire harness clips necessary.

• STEP: 8
  Disconnect each fog light harness then use a T-30 Torx bit to remove the four mounting bolts from each fog light assembly. Remove the fog assemblies and place off to the side.

• STEP: 9
  Mount two D-Series with standard mounting brackets to the F-150 fog light bracket, the driver side is shown. For the bracket into the slot in the F-150 bumper. Use one of the T-30 Torx bolts from step 7 to install the bracket to the bumper and one to install the support bracket to the bumper as shown below. Use the supplied M6 hardware to install the support bracket to the main bracket. Position the brackets and tighten all hardware. Repeat on the passenger side of the vehicle.

• STEP: 10
  Reinstall the lower valence assembly and bolts from step 7, making sure to reconnect all electrical connectors and harness clips. With assistance place the bumper back onto the vehicle and replace the bumper mounting nuts that were removed in step 6. Reconnect all harnesses and clips that were disconnected in step 5. Install all wiring for the lights at this time before re-installing the grille.

• STEP: 11
  Reinstall the grille from step 4, snapping it into place and securing it using the four upper grille bolts that were removed. Replace bolts removed in step

2. Then re-install the radiator cover and all plastic clips removed in step 3. Carefully replace the lower grille trim removed in step one by snapping it into place and replacing the bolts.

Wiring: Wire your lights according to the instructions included with the light. Take care to avoid any heat sources and sharp or abrasive surfaces. Your installation is now complete. Welcome to the Rigid Nation!
