INSTALLATION

Ensure that all parts are complete during installation. The owner and/or operator must read these installation contents before using the instrument.

PIANO SOCKET

  1. Headphone Socket
    • Connect the headphones to this socket.
  2. Audio Output
    • Connect the DDP-80PLUS piano to the large speaker device via this socket.
  3. Power Supply Socket
    • Connect the power adapter to this socket.
    • Please unplug the power cord and store it properly when the product is not in use for an extended period of time.
    • The DDP-80PLUS piano will shut off automatically after 30 mins when not used.
  4. Sustain Pedal Socket
    • Connect the sustain pedal cord to this socket.
  5. USB Port
    • Support multiple devices. Use the Type-B line to connect computers, mobile phones, tablets, and iPad for self-study, composition, or teaching. The edited music and built-in accompaniment of the music software can be connected to digital piano via software for playback.
  6. Volume Control
    • Control the major output level. (7 Power Switch
    • Turn the power on by pressing the power switch.
  7. Triple-Pedal
    • Control sustain and sound effects.
    • Connect the pedal cord to the pedal connector at the bottom of the digital piano.

TRIPLE PEDAL

Damper Pedal (Right)
Notes will be sustained after pressing the damper pedal; the sustain effect ends immediately after release.
Sostenuto Pedal (Middle)
Notes that are already being played while pressing this pedal will sustain the played notes, but others subsequently played notes will not be sustained. This can lengthen a chord or single bass note while playing other sounds in a staccato fashion.

Soft Pedal (Left)

Pressing the soft pedal will reduce the volume of the notes that you are playing and slightly change the timbre of the notes. The notes played before pressing the pedal are not affected.

PIANO MAINTENANCE

  • Conscientiously do a good job in the maintenance and protection of this product. It plays an important role in prolonging the service life and reducing faults.
  • In order to avoid deformation, discoloration, or more serious damage, do not store it in the following environments.
    • Direct sunlight
    • High temperature
    • Excessive humidity
    • Excessive dust
    • Strong vibration
  • In order to avoid interference with other products such as televisions and radios, do not place the piano near the electrical devices.
  • In order to avoid discoloration to the panel and keyboard, do not clean the piano with thinners, alcohol, or similar chemicals. Spots or dirt which is difficult to remove can be wiped off with a slightly water-dampened cloth.
  • In order to avoid damage to the panel or internal electronic components, do not move the piano violently and place heavy objects on it.

Smoke, odor, overheating

The following operations shall be carried out immediately to avoid the danger of fire and electric shock when the product is smoking, emitting odors, or overheating.

  1. Turn off the power supply.
  2. Pull the plug from the power outlet.
  3. Contact the local agency.

Power Supply and Power Line

Improper use of power supply and power lines may cause the danger of fire and electric shock. The following precautions must be observed:

  1. Specified power lines for this product must be used.
  2. An AC power adaptor with output voltage within the household rated voltage must be used.
  3. Do not place the power cord near the heat and wet sources.
  4. Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords.
  5. Do not place heavy objects on the power lines.Do not twist and bend the power lines.
  6. Do not use wet hands to touch the power cord and plug.
  7. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet when not using the instrument or during a thunderstorm.
  8. Make sure that the power is off when connecting or cutting off the power cord.
  9. Children should not be allowed to contact the plug and power line when there is no adult supervision.

• Water and Foreign Matter

  • Please turn off the power supply and unplug the power cord so as to avoid the danger of fire and electric shock when water and other foreign matter into this product.

Dismantlement

  • Please do not disassemble or modify this product so as to avoid the danger of fire and electric shock.

Handling and transportation

  • Never apply excessive force to the controls, connectors, or other parts of the instrument.
  • Grab the plug firmly while unplugging the cables, never pull the cables with force.
  • Disconnect all cables before moving the instrument.
  • Shocks caused by dropping, bumping the instrument, or placing heavy objects on top of it, can result in scratches and even more severe damages.

Placement

  • Please do not place this product on an uneven surface or any other unstable place so as to avoid any falling damage.

  • The interface of this product can only be connected to the specified equipment and devices. The connection of non-designated equipment or devices has the risk of fire and electric shock.
