Specified Conditions Of Use
The pump is solely used for drainage and for pumping into and out of containers in the house, garden, farm, and agriculture and only for water. Respecting technical data and safety precautions. Not observing general regulations in force and instructions from this manual does not make the manufacturer liable for damages. The pump is not suited for long-run operation (e.g. as a circulation pump in ponds or streams). When used in this manner, its service life is curtailedcorrespondingly. In these cases, then, use a time switch to secure sufficient idle periods between cycles of operation. Do not leave the pump unattended while in operation in order to prevent subsequent damages caused by eventual malfunctions. Make sure to disconnect the device from the grid if you do not plan on using it. Do not use the pump for drinking water! The pump must not be connected to the existing water-supply network as a pressure-boosting device. Never use the pump as a pool circulation pump.

in the given country must unconditionally be observed. Do not use pump at
outside temperatures over 40 °C or under 0 °C In cold weather, the pumping
body motor should not be wrapped in a blanket or another piece of textile with
intent to prevent the water freezing. The user is responsible to third parties

Maintenance
Before carrying out any work on the machine, disconnect the plug from the socket. Prior to every use, visually check the machine to rule out any defects, in particular on the power cable and the plug. The machine must not be used under any circumstances if the machine or the safety devices are damaged. In case of a failure of the pump, a repair can only be executed by the GÜDE service center. Original spare parts are to be used only. Caution: Standing water may corrode (brownish color) in the pump according to design. During winter storing, it is necessary to make sure there is no water in the appliance as the frost could damage the appliance. Prior to transportation, it is necessary to unplug the pump from the grid! The device has to be completely emptied and stored with frost-proof protection. Adhesion of mechanical seals can be prevented if you rinse the pump with the appropriate oil (for example, vegetable oil). Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insufficient maintenance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and injuries.
Guarantee
The warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use and 24 months applies to private use and commences on the day of purchase of the device. The guarantee solely covers inadequacies caused by material defects or manufacturing defect. An original payment voucher with the date of the sale needs to be submitted for any claim in the guarantee period. The guarantee does not cover any unauthorized use such as appliance overloading, use of violence, or damage as a result of any unauthorized interference caused by foreign items. To prevent damage (such as flooded rooms, etc.) as a result of faulty pump operation (failure or fault) the owner (user) is obliged to take reasonable safety measures (alarm assembly, spare pump, etc.).
Disposal
The disposal instructions are based on the icons placed on the appliance or on
the package. Description of the respective meanings can be found in the
section „Marking“. Any damaged or disposed devices must be delivered to
appropriate collection centres.
Transport packaging disposal
The packaging protects the machine against damage during transport. Packaging
materials are usually chosen based on environment aspects and waste treatment
principles and are therefore recyclable. Returning the packaging into material
circulation saves raw materials and reduces waste production. Parts of
packagings (e.g. foils, styropor®) can be dangerous for children.
Risk of suffocation! Keep parts of the packaging out of reach of children
and dispose them as soon as possible.
