VISUAL COMFORT S 2202 Halle 18 Inch Vanity Light
Product Information
The Halle 18 Vanity Light (Item # S 2202) is a light fixture that provides
illumination for vanity areas. It is designed to be installed in accordance
with applicable local installation codes. The fixture includes a mounting
plate (B), fixture body (G), lantern (I), and various screws and anchors.
Please note that bulbs are not included with the vanity light.
Product Usage Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a clean, soft surface.
- Remove the mounting plate (B) from the fixture body (G) by unscrewing the side screws (F).
- Remove the lantern (I) from the fixture body (G) by unscrewing the side screws (H).
- Using the mounting plate (B) as a guide, line it up with the junction box and mark the anchor positions.
- Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the anchors, drill holes in the marked positions.
- Install the anchors (A) into the drilled holes using a hammer.
- Attach the mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure it with the provided mounting screws (D). Then, secure the wood screws (C) to the anchors (A).
- Wrap the fixture’s ground wire (green) around the green grounding.
- Install the fixture body (G) to the mounting plate (B) and secure it with the side screws (F).
- Install a light bulb into the socket.
- Install the lantern (I) to the fixture body (G) and secure it with the side screws (H).
Note: It is important to follow all applicable local installation codes and ensure that the installation is carried out by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the vanity light.
Care Instructions
To clean the vanity light, use only a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents as they may damage the fixture.

NOTICE
This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect item and contents carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install. Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.
TOOLS REQUIRED
(NOT INCLUDED):
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Slotted Screwdriver
- Drill
- Hammer
- Pencil
- Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.
- Remove mounting plate (B) from fixture body (G) by removing side screws (F).
- Remove lantern (I) from fixture body (G) by removing side screws (H).
- Using mounting plate (B) as a guide, line up with the junction box and mark anchor positions.
- Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the anchor, drill holes in the marked positions. Install anchors (A) into holes using hammer.
- Install mounting plate (B) to junction box and secure with mounting screws (D), then secure wood screws (C) to anchors (A).
- Wrap fixture ground wire (green) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (E).
- NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded.
- Connect fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (E).
- Connect fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (E).
- CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck them into the junction box.
