Operation

• Ensure that the product is placed in a well-insulated room or area  suitable for occasional use.
• Connect the power supply according to the specified technical data. – Start the machine by turning the power switch to the “START” position.
• Adjust the power level using the MIN and MAX settings.
• To stop the machine, turn the power switch to the “STOP” position.
• Follow any additional instructions provided in the user manual for specific operation modes (CZ Provoz, PL Eksploatacja, ES Funcionamiento). – Take breaks of 3-5 minutes during prolonged operation.

General Power Tool Safety Warnings

WARNING
Read all safety warnings and all instructions.  Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term „power tool“ in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (cord power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

Direct/indirect electrical contact may lead to electric shock. The appliance is to be operated only in electrical networks with protective RCD.

Burns; Touching the protective grille or housing body can cause burns. Avoid these parts.
Despite compliance with all relevant building regulations, there still can be some threats during operation.

Work area safety

• Keep work area clean and well lit.  Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool.

Electrical safety

• Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded power tools.  Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
• Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators.  There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
• Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving  parts.  Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock..
• When operating a power tool outdoors, use an ex- tension cord suitable for outdoor use.  Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

Personal safety

• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use  common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.  A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.

Power tool use and care

• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application.  The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off.  Any power tool that cannot be control-led with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
• Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.  Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
• Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.  Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
• Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc.
  in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed.  Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

Service

• Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair  person using only identical replacement parts.  This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Safety instructions Electric heater
This apparatus may be used by children aged 8 years and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience or know-how, provided they are under supervision or have been instructed on the safe use of the apparatus and understand its potential dangers. Children must not be allowed to play with the apparatus. Children are not allowed to carry out cleaning or user maintenance unless under supervision.
Children younger than 3 years must be kept away from the apparatus unless under constant supervision. Children aged between 3 and 8 years are not allowed to switch the apparatus on or off unless under supervision or after instruction on its safe use, including awareness of potential hazards, provided also the apparatus is positioned or installed as for normal use.
Children aged between 3 and 8 years shall not plug in or operate the apparatus or clean it and/or carry out user maintenance.
Caution – certain parts of the product may get hot enough to cause burns. Particular caution is called for if children and persons requiring protection are present.

CAUTION! To prevent the danger of inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out relay, the apparatus must not be supplied via an external contactor such as a timer switch or be connected to a circuit that will automatically switch on and off.
Attention! A damaged cord of this apparatus must be replaced by the manufacturer or his customer service or a similarly qualified person, to pre- vent hazards.
Flammable materials should be kept at a safe distance of at least 1 metre from the apparatus.
Do not use or store explosive or flammable materials (e.g. fuel, paper, paints) in the vicinity of the product. Select a place to install the apparatus where inadvertent contact can be prevented.
Keep the heater clean.
Protect the electrical parts from moisture. To prevent electrical shock, never submerse these parts in water or other fluids during cleaning or when in operation.
Never hold the apparatus under flowing water.
Switch off the apparatus, disconnect it from mains by unplugging and allow it to cool down before setting up, retrofitting, cleaning, performing maintenance, storing or transporting the apparatus.
Operation is only allowed with a safety switch against stray current (RCD max. stray current of 30mA).
The machine must be plugged to 230 V with 16 A fuse.
Always pull the mains plug when the heater is not in use. Do not tug at the cable to unplug the apparatus.
Check all screw and plug-in connections and protective equipment if firm and tightened properly and whether all moving parts are running smooth whenever the appliance is to be put into operation.
The protective equipment on the appliance is strictly prohibited to be disassembled, changed, used in conflict with the designation and it is prohibited to attach any protective equipment of other manufacturers.
The appliance must not be used if damaged or safety equipment is defective. Replace any worn-out and damaged parts.
Before use check machine, cable, and plug for any damages or material fatigue. Repairs should only be carried out by authorized Service Agents.

• When using the appliance, it is essential to always comply with the relevant local building and fire regulations, appropriate electrical protection and regulations of professional associations.
• Ensure a safe distance from flammable items.
• Free air inlet and outlet must always be provided.
• Never put any foreign items into the appliance.
• WARNING! To prevent overheating, never cover the heater with anything.
• The safety equipment must not be bridged or blocked.
• The appliance must never be directly under a wall socket during operation.
• The machine is not suitable to be installed on fixed installed power cables.
• Operate the machine only with a fully unwound electric cable.
• Never immerse the machine in water – danger to life!
• Never place the machine near wet areas or wet sources (bathroom, shower, swimming pool, etc.). A person in shower, in a container filled with water or in bath must not touch the control elements.
• Never touch the machine with wet hands when in operation. Place the machine so that the mains plug is accessible at any time.
• The appliance must not be exposed to direct water flow (e.g. high pressure cleaners, etc.). Water must never enter the appliance.
• Do not place and operate the appliance in areas with a risk of fire and explosion.
• The appliance must not be installed in an atmosphere laden with oil, Sulphur and salt.
• Do not place the machine in areas with a risk of fire (e.g. woodshed).
• Do not use the machine in animal production or animal husbandry.
• Keep a sufficient distance from walls and other objects.
• The protective grille is hot – pro-vide a safe distance of persons, children and animals. Do not place any combustible or fusible objects in front of the appliance.
• Never put the machine on high-pile carpets.
• Do not use this heater with a program switch, timer, remote control, or any other device that automatically turns on the heater. This creates a fire hazard if the heater is covered or improperly set up.
  Keep persons, children, animals and flammable items in a safe distance, at least 2 meters from the front side and app. 60 cm from all other surfaces of the housing body.

Specified Conditions Of Use

Electric heaters are used in construction, shipbuilding, agriculture, car repair services, gastronomy, installations and where oil or gas heaters are not required or permitted.
The device may only be operated standing on the ground and fully assembled. Operating on an unstable surface is not permitted.
Do not use this product in any other way as stated for normal use. Respecting technical data and safety precautions. Not observing general regulations in force and instructions from this manual does not make the manufacturer liable for damages.
The apparatus is not intended for drying of clothing or for installation under benches or in floor trenches.

Emergency procedure

Conduct a first-aid procedure adequate to the injury and summon qualified medical attendance as quickly as possible. Protect the injured person from further harm and calm them down. For the sake of eventual accident, in accordance with DIN 13164, a workplace has to be fitted with a first-aid kit. It is essential to replace any used material in the first-aid kit immediately after it has been used.

Requirements for operating staff

The operating staff must carefully read the Opera-ting Instructions before using the appliance.

• Qualification: Apart from the detailed instructions by a professional, no special qualification is necessary for appliance using.
• Minimum age:   The product has been designed to be used by persons over 16 years of age. If the product is to be used by children below the age of 8 or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or with a lack of experience and knowledge, they must be supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the resulting risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
• Training:   Using the appliance only requires corresponding training by a professional or the Operating Instructions. No special training is necessary.
  The operator is responsible for accidents or risks to third parties.

Operation

The appliance can be put into operation after you have read and understood the safety instructions.
To achieve optimum heat distribution, place the electric heater in the middle of the room if possible or at least 2 meters from the wall. As a result, the air will circulate better and the room will be heated quicker. All windows and doors should stay closed.

1. Connect the power cable to a suitable outlet. Ensure appropriate protection of your electrical network.
2. Set the desired performance using the performance degree regulator.
3. To turn the electric heater off, move the 3-5 min. performance regulator button to the ´fan´ position. The appliance can then be turned off or unplugged.

Set the thermostat to the average switch-off temperature. Set the fan to the full heating power and let it heat until the thermostat switches off. Switch the fan off and measure the room temperature. If the room temperature is too low, turn the thermostat regulator more to the right and switch the fan on again. If the room temperature is too high, turn the thermostat more to the left, let the room cool down and switch the fan on again. Keep repeating these steps until reaching the required temperature.
Unpleasant odor can be smelled at the first startup of the appliance under certain circumstances; however, the odor is absolutely harmless and vanishes completely with an increased time of operation.

Maintenance

Before carrying out any work on the machine, disconnect the plug from the socket.

WARNING The machine must not be used under any circumstances if the machine or the safety devices are damaged.
Repairs and works specified in these Instructions may only be performed by qualified authorized staff.
Use only original accessories and original spare parts.
Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insufficient maintenance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and injuries.
Never clean the machine and its components with solvents, flammable or toxic liquids. Us only a damp cloth making.

Guarantee

Warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use and 24 months applies to private use and commences on the day of purchase of the device.
The guarantee solely covers inadequacies caused by material defect or manufacturing defect. Original payment voucher with the sales date needs to be submitted for any claim in the guarantee period.
The guarantee does not cover any unauthorized use such as appliance overloading, use of violence, damage as a result of any unauthorized interference or caused by foreign items. Failing to follow the operating and assembly instructions and common wear are also not included in the guarantee.

Disposal

Disposal notes are based on the icons placed on the machine or on its package.
Do not put electrical appliances to household waste – use collection centers in your town. Ask the municipality authorities where such collection centers can be found. If electrical appliances are disposed in an uncontrolled manner, hazardous substances can get into ground water through the weather and – as a result – penetrate the food chain or poison the flora and fauna for a number of years. When the appliance is to be changed for a new one, the seller is legally obliged to accept the old appliance, at least for free disposal.

Transport packaging disposal

The packaging protects the machine against damage during transport. Packaging materials are usually chosen based on environment aspects and waste treatment principles and are therefore recyclable. Re-turning the packaging into material circulation saves raw materials and reduces waste production. Parts of packaging’s (e.g. foils, striper®) can be dangerous for children.
Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging out of reach of children and dispose them as quickly as possible.
