TECHNICAL DATA

Battery 1 x 1.2 V / 300 mAh AAA
Protection rating IP44
Safety class III

USE

The built-in rechargeable battery is charged from the solar cell in the glass. The lamp switches on automatically when it goes dark, and switches off when it gets light. During long periods of insufficient sunlight the battery will not be charged enough to run the lamp continuously. This does not mean that the product is defective. The lamp will shine again after some sunny days.

Positioning

  • Place the lamp in a sunny area without shadows, standing on a table or other suitable surface in the garden. Make sure that the lamp is stable and cannot be blown over.
  • The lamp is weatherproof, but should be stored indoors during the winter.

How to use

  1. Remove the lamp from the packaging.

  2. Put the power switch in the ON position.
The power switch is located underneath the lamp.
    BILD 1

  3. A steady white light is activated when the power switch is in the middle position. In the outer position the light changes colour.

OBS!
How long the lamp stays on depends on the strength of the sunlight during the day. After days of weak sunlight, or no sunlight at all, the lamp will shine for a shorter time. If the lamp does not shine the first evening, wait for a sunny day.

MAINTENANCE

Batteries in solar cell lamps usually need to be replaced every other year. Only use batteries of the recommended type.

  1. Put the power switch in the OFF position. The power switch is located underneath the lamp.
  2. Unscrew the four screws holding the battery cover.
  3. Remove the battery cover.
  4. Take off the seal.
  5. Release the battery from the holder and replace with a new one of the same type.
  6. Replace the seal and press the battery cover in place. Screw in the four screws.
  7. Put the power switch in the ON position.

OBS!
Recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations.
