ASSEMBLY

  1. Turn the leg frames (A) and (B) upside down and insert the tubes of frame (B) into frame (A) as shown in FIG 1, until they click into place.
  2. Insert the padded handle (F) into the protruding side holes of the frame (A) by pressing downwards as in FIG 2.
  3. Install the suction cup feet (E). It is IMPORTANT that you insert the wide suction cup feet (E) into the side of the armrest, snapping them in until you hear them click as in FIG 3.
  4. Do the same for the legs with the two narrow suction cups (D), these will be placed outside the bath or shower.
  5. Finally, push the backrest (G) into the tubes at the bottom of the frame (A) until you hear a click. The tubes can be inserted from either side according to the user’s needs in order to use the transfer bench.

INSTALLATION

  • You must regulate the legs and make sure they are locked, leaving the seat completely horizontal.
  • IMPORTANT: Place the transfer bench with the handle and the suction cups inside the bathtub for a secure grip. Look at FIG 4.
  • You can place the backrest on both the right and the left, so that the handle is as it suits the space you have in your bathroom.
  • The narrow ends will be located on the outside.
    IMPORTANT
    The armrest and the wide suction cup tips must go inside the bathtub.
    Installation

WARNINGS!

  • Check all parts for all components or if there was any damage during shipping.
  • Make sure all four legs are adjusted to the same height.
  • Make sure the fasteners click into the holes in the legs.
  • Do not use for side transfers or part load.
  • Do not sit on it, unless all four legs are fully in contact with the ground. Use the product only on even ground.
  • DO NOT sit on the bench.
  • The user must be able to maintain balance in case of use without an assistant.
  • Any serious incident related to the product must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and patient are established.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

The product can be cleaned and disinfected with products available on the market. Always keep the product clean and wash it regularly.

  1. Remove the legs.
  2. Use water and a mild non-abrasive detergent to clean the separated parts.
  3. Disinfect by cleaning all accessible surfaces with disinfectant.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

KMINA warrants this device to be free from defects. The warranty shall remain valid for 3 years from the date of original purchase by the consumer. The warranty does not extend to parts exposed to natural wear and tear that require periodic replacement. This warranty does not cover:

  • Replacement parts supplied by anyone other than KMINA or the authorised dealer.
  • Any failure of the unit during the warranty period that is not caused by a defect in material or workmanship or if the failure is caused by misuse.
  • KMINA is not liable for accidental damage or damage to property.
