BED REST PATIENT TURNING DEVICE
The bed rest patient turning device is a rotation cushion indicated to help the caregiver with patient hygiene, diaper change or change of clothes. It allows simple, safe and effortless turning of bedridden and/or rehabilitated users, facilitating postural changes and preventing bedsores.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

  1. Place the cushion on the bed and place both legs over the holes in the cushion.
  2. Insert each leg into the U-shaped recesses of the cushion.
  3. Turn the patient carefully. Use the side handles to facilitate turning.
  4. Once the patient has been turned, he/she can carry out the tasks of hygiene or rehabilitation.
    In case of any doubt or problem, we recommend the review or supervision of a health professional or technician.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

The cover of the cushion is removable, as it has a zipper, which allows the cover to be washed.

  • Clean only with water and neutral soap at max. 86ºF . It is not recommended to use: chlorine,bleach, alcohol-based disinfectants, color whiteners or abrasive products. Caustic products,paint strippers, solvents and sharp or cutting objects in direct contact with the cushion are prohibited.
  • It is recommended to carry out a preliminary washing test on a small surface when using hospital cleaning products.
  • Do not wet the foam.
  • Do not iron.
  • Do not tumble dry.

WARNINGS

  • The product foam is flammable. Keep away from heat sources. In case of combustion quickly dispose of the device.
  • The material used in contact with the patient’s skin is hypoallergenic and soft, this does not rule out the possibility that in certain cases episodes of allergies, dermatitis, chafing, swelling or irritation may occur. In this case, remove the cushion and consult a doctor.
  • If minor discomfort caused by sweating occurs, you can use an interface to separate the skin from contact with the fabric of the device.
  • Regularly examine the cushion for normal wear and tear: holes, cracks, surface appearance, etc.
  • Store cushions preferably in a flat position and protected from natural light and moisture.
  • Do not burn or dispose of in nature, outside the places intended for this purpose.
  • The warranty will remain in effect for 3 years from the date of original purchase by the consumer. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the product and does not replace statutory warranties.
  • Any modification made to the cushion that has not been expressly authorized by the manufacturer does not guarantee its therapeutic function.
  • Please observe the care and maintenance instructions. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper care or maintenance.
  • Please contact the company in the event of an incident in order to resolve it.
  • Retain these instructions for future reference.
  • According to the manufacturer’s recommendations, this product is suitable for recycling.
  • Any serious incident involving the product must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and t he patient are established.
