ANTI-DECUBITUS CUSHION
Anti-decubitus cushions prevent the appearance of bedsores, typical of bodies
that remain immobile for a long period of time.
These injuries are manifested mainly in the points of support of the body. The
excessive pressure of the bones deprives of blood and oxygen, which causes
redness, destruction of the skin and deep wounds. To avoid its appearance is
convenient to place suitable products under each fulcrum and change frequently
to position the patient, as well as avoid any type of humidity because it
favors the appearance of these ulcers.
INDICATIONS OF USE
Recommended for the prevention of bedsores and improve rest. According to the
risk of eschar and weight of the user, it will be advisable to use one cushion
or another.
The shape of the cushion is designed to fit wheelchairs. Put the cushion
preferably on a flat and rigid base and always with the memory foam part
(white) facing up.
FEATURES
- Dimensions: 17″x17″x3.15″. It is 3. 15” thick, 2“ opolyurethane foam and 1.15” of visco-elastic foam.
- Maximum user weight: 220 lb.
- Soft, washable, breathable, waterproof and non-slip cover.
- Composition: Fabric made with a 100% polystyrene layer and a 100% polyurethane layer.
- Barrier antibacterial, antifungal, antichinches and antimites. For its full effectiveness, the cushion cover must be completely closed.
- OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certificate.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
- The cushion is removable, which allows washing the cover.
- Clean only with water and neutral soap. It is not recommended to use: chlorine, bleach, alcohol disinfectants or abrasive products.
- We recommend to pre-washed a small surface area be when using hospital cleaning products.
- Never use drying presses, the waterproof layer can be broken by not letting the water molecules out.
- Do not iron.
- It is important not wet the memory foam.
WARNINGS
- Check that the cushion fits correctly the seat where it will be used.
- It is recommended that the cushion be 0.4- 0.8” smaller than the seat.
- Caustics, strippers, solvents and sharp or sharp objects in direct contact with the cushion are prohibited.
- Regularly examine the cushion for normal wear: holes, cracks, changes in the appearance of the surface, etc.
- Store the cushions preferably flat and protected from natural light and moisture.
- Do not burn or throw away in nature, outside the places designated for it.
- The warranty will remain in effect for 2 years from the consumer’s original purchase date. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on the product and does not replace legal warranties.
- Observe the care and maintenance instructions. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for damage resulting from improper care or maintenance.

- According to the manufacturer’s recommendations, this product is suitable for recycling.
