The fixture can hold up to six 60-watt candelabra base bulbs or CFL or LED equivalent bulbs. The installation manual provides detailed instructions on how to assemble and install the fixture.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation process, shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
- Unpack the new fixture carefully and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
- Secure the stem onto all thread on fixture body.
- Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods to all thread on stem. Screw loop onto rod J1. Carefully feed wire through each rod as you assemble.
- Thread all thread into canopy loop and secure with lock washer and hex nut.
- Thread the other end of all thread into crossbar and secure with lock washer and hex nut. Note: The length of the all thread into the crossbar may be adjusted if necessary.
- Attach crossbar to the junction box with mounting screws. The side of the mounting plate marked GND and two convex points must face out.
- Attach quick link to loop. Slide lock collar, acrylic disk, and canopy over quick link, then attach quick link to canopy loop. Carefully feed wire through loop, quick link, lock collar, acrylic disk, canopy, canopy loop, and all thread.
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in the diagram, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the crossbar using the green screw provided.
- Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
- Raise the canopy and acrylic disk to the ceiling and secure with lock collar. Note: Adjust the canopy to be centered if necessary.
- Install six candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent in accordance with the fixture specification. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!
- Once installation is complete, return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
Note: It is important that the fixture is installed by a qualified electrician to ensure proper wiring and installation.
