Product Introduction

Handyblock replaces the scratch module with physical transformation building blocks, let the children completely detached from computer to learning programming.

HandyBlock contains a variety of programming commands. Through a simple combination of products, you can create a variety of programs to make the programmed robot “move”. It can also control the various sensors on the robot and make the robot to interact interestingly with the sounds, colors and obstacles around it.

  • Main Control Module/ Master control module Connecting the command blocks to the core brain of the robot

  • Connecting the command blocks to the core brain of the robot: The master control module connects the command building blocks through the POGO PIN magnetic connection instruction. The master control module converts the command into executable programs, communicating with robots or smart home equipment and controlling the robot or smart home equipment execute command via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

user guide

  1. turn on
    Press the power button to start the machine and the power indicator will light up (In case of failure to power up, please charge the HandyBlock host)

  2. Select the Start Block
    Choose different starting blocks depending on the robot you want to control

  3. Select the command block to program and put it behind the start block

  4. Finally, put the finishing block

  5. Press the execute button on the host machine to make the robot move according to the program

Host Activation Guide

New factory HandyBlock host, need to be activated to use

  1. Scan the QR code of the host with WeChat.
  2. Enter the WiFi password to connect the Internet
  3. The host will automatically upgrade to the latest system
  4. Restart the host and the activation is successful

Generally, the host machine will be matched with the robot when it leaves the factory. Users can also complete the robot matching by themselves

  1. Select the type of robot to be matched and build blocks according to the following picture
    usage

  2. start: 100:0 means to match Codey Rocky

  3. Start: 100:1 means to match alphas

  4. Start : 100:2 means to match Ducky
    It’s the same as selecting the robot after the start block

  5. Make sure that only one robot is ‘on’ and the other robots are ‘off’
    For example, in order to match Codey Rocky, only one Codey Rocky can be opened and the others must be closed

  6. Click the start button. Waiting for the matching to finish Host screen display

  7. After successful match, the host screen will display

  8. After the match, the host can program Codey Rocky

Host Software Upgrade Guide

  1. Automatically upgrade the software when activated
    When the host is activated, it will automatically upgrade to the latest software version

  2. Software Upgrade Alerts
    Each time the host starts will check whether the software is the latest version. If it is the latest version, the screen icon after the host starts looks like this If you need to upgrade, the screen icon after the host starts looks like this

  3. Software Upgrade Operation
    Build the building blocks according to the following picture. Use start block: 102, means to allow the host to upgrade the software Press the start button and the host begins to upgrade the software. After successfully upgrade, the host will automatically restart

Safety instructions

  1. This product is not suitable for children under 3 years old
  2. This product is recommended for children aged 6 and above
  3. Children should use this product under the direct supervision of adults
  4. Please try not to place the product on the high edge to avoid falling and damage
  5. Do not disassemble, repair or refit the product by yourself to avoid product failure
  6. Do not place the product in water, fire, humidity or high temperature environment to avoid product failure or safety accidents
  7. Please use the recommended adapter (5V/1A adapter) to charge the product
  8. The adapter used to charge the product should not be used as a toy
  9. Transformers are not toys
  10. Disconnect the transformer before cleaning the toy with liquid
  11. Toys cannot be connected to more than the recommended number of adapters
  12. Check regularly whether the wires, plugs, housing or other parts are damaged, and stop using them when found damaged until they are repaired in good condition
  13. Maintenance method: daily cleaning, please use a soft cloth dipped in water to wipe clean.

Search for “HandyBlock” in WeChat mini program or scan the QR code below to open the handyBlock mini program. There have the latest video help to use, and you can also manage the handyBlock host and view the robot information which matching of the host.
