GE 21149 Winterberry White Branch Tree
Product Information
The product is a pre-lit Christmas tree manufactured by Nicolas Holiday Ltd. The tree comes in three sections – top, middle, and bottom – with a metal stand and four stakes for securing the tree. The tree has a variety of lighting options controlled by a control box with nine functions. The tree is designed for indoor and outdoor use and operates on 120V. The product is trademarked by General Electric Company and licensed by Nicolas Holiday Ltd.
Product Usage Instructions
- Exercise care when unpacking and assembling the tree.
- Disconnect the light set from power before starting assembly.
- Keep wires clear of being pinched or cut during assembly or installation.
- Do not press or grasp bulbs during assembly or installation.
- Make sure stakes are clear of underground sprinklers, telephones, and power lines before starting.
- Read all instructions and warnings included with the product before using.
- Carefully unpack the tree, remove any bubble wrap, and inspect the contents of your tree.
- Open the tree stand and set it at a 90-degree angle. Remember to tighten the thumbscrew after connecting the bottom section and tree stand.
- Untie the red twist-tie to release branch panels. Gently position any branches that do not fall into place.
- When connecting two tree sections, align the mark on the tree poles.
- Electrically connect the lighted sections by locating the two white connector cord tags between each section. Fully insert the two-pin polarized male and female connectors and screw on the cap to secure the connection.
- To illuminate the tree, find and unhand the long lead wire from the bottom section. Fully insert the direct plug-in adapter into a working GFCI outlet or an outdoor-rated extension cord.
- Assemble the tree section by section.
- Disconnect the decorative item from the power source before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
- If one section of your tree does not illuminate, check that section for cut or damaged wires or that all electrical connections on the tree are made.
- Store the carton neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight to prolong the tree’s life and to better keep the light sets in working order. Do not place a heavy load on the carton to avoid damage to or crushing the carton and tree inside.

Assembly Instructions
- Carefully unpack, removing any bubble wrap and inspect the contents of your tree. {Fig. A}
The tree stand should be open and set at 90 angle. Remember to tighten the
thumbscrew after connecting bottom section and tree stand. See {Fig. B} Untie
red twist-tie to release branch panels.
Gently position any branches that do not fall into place.
Your assembled tree may be heavy and difficult to move when done, so place the
stand in desired location before assembling. C
Secure in place using the (4) metal stakes.

When you connect two tree sections, it is important that you align the mark on the tree poles. See {Fig. C}
Assemble section by section. -
To electrically connect the lighted sections:
First, locate the 2 white connector cord tags between each section. Then fully insert the 2-pin polarized male and female connectors. Fully screw on the cap to secure connection. -
To illuminate, find and unhank the long lead wire from the bottom section.
Fully insert the direct plug-in adapter into a working GFCI outlet or an outdoor-rated extension cord.
NOTE: Hammer/Mallet may be required for stakes
Troubleshooting Tips
If one section of your tree does not illuminate, check that section for cut or
damage wires or that all electrical connections on tree are made.
Due to unique construction of the light sets, the individual LEDs are not
replaceable. The light sets are designed for continued operation even if an
individual LED fails to light.
IMPORTANT: Store your carton neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight to prolong the tree life and to better keep the light sets in working order. Do not place a heavy load on the carton to avoid damage to or crushing the carton and tree inside.
