Read these instructions and save for future use.

Unit will fall if not installed properly. Follow installation instructions.
CAUTION

The luminaire should be mounted so that prolonged staring into the luminaire
at a distance closer than 0.50m is not expected.

Preparation for Mounting
Battery and test button| Motion sensor| Button photocontrol
Remove battery and test button, motion sensor, or button photocontrol it necessary to mount box.
Junction Box Mounting
Mount to a 3 ½-in. square or 4-in. octagonal recessed outlet box.| Apply gaskets.| Caulk upper edge and sides on rough surfaces.
Fasten to junction box with user supplied screws.
CAUTION
Water-tight conduit connections are required when using the mounting box
knockouts
Surface Conduit
Knock out conduit entries as needed.| Attach to wall (follow Step 4 below).| Fasten/seal conduit to box.
Surface Mount
Locate and drill holes in wall surface of| Install user-supplied anchors.|
Apply gaskets.
Caulk upper edge and sides on rough surfaces.| Fasten plate or box to wall with user supplied screws.
WARNING
RISK OF INJURY OR DAMAGE
Select user-supplied wall anchors and anchor fasteners suitable for the wall
construction and the fixture’s mounting hole diameters. Ensure a minimum per-
anchor pull-out- strength of 10 times (10X) the fixture weight and install per
the manufacturer’s instructions.
Wiring
CAUTION
RISK OF SHOCK OR DAMAGE
Follow applicable national and localelectrical codes.
RISK OF DAMAGE
Verify supply voltage and wire insulation temperature rating match nameplate
requirements.
Reinstall battery and test button, motion sensor, or button photocontrol if
previously removed.| Connect supply leads to fixture.
(Standard No Sensors) Connect supply leads to fixture and backplate ground
leads.| (Button Photocontrol) Connect supply leads to fixture, Button PE, and
backplate ground leads.
(EMBB) Connect supply leads to fixture, EMBB, and chassis ground leads.| (Internal Motion Sensor) Connect supply leads to fixture, sensor, and backplate ground leads.
WARNING
RISK OF FAILURE.
An unswitched AC power source of 100VAC to 277VAC is required for proper EMBB
charging and operation. An Illuminated LED indicator light indicates AC power
is applied.
Controls
Verify if unit has a programmable occupancy sensor.| Refer to FSIR-100 datasheet for programable settings.| Aim FSIR-100 at fixture and program settings.
Button Up
Fasten housing to box or plate.| For ADA installations, use shorter screws.| Insert plugs to hide screws.
Testing EMBB
Push button to test operation.| Note flashing light, see Table 1 for codes.
