USE AND OPERATION

Cooking with Newlux Air Power is very simple: just enter the ingredients, start the menu you want (preset time and temperature) and wait for the fryer to cook for you.
It is advisable to preheat the fryer before placing the food, unless it is already hot from a previous cooking cycle. Preheating saves cooking time and improves the texture of the cooked food.
When cooking with your air fryer, keep in mind:

  • Open the basket by pushing with the cool-touch handle.
  • To add oil, the best option is to use a spray, which distributes it evenly and uses less quantity. Alternatively, you can add a small amount of no more than 2 tablespoons.
  • You can cook with different oils: canola, olive, avocado, coconut, grape seed, peanut or vegetable oil.
  • If you have soaked the food in water, dry it well with kitchen paper so it browns and less smoke is emitted in the removable basket.
  • You can use any container resistant to heat (oven or air fryer safe) and insert it directly into the basket. Ideal for cooking any food with filling or dough.
  • When cooking high fat foods, it is advisable to drain the oil and fats that will be deposited in the outer basket to avoid excess smoke.

WARNING! If you overfill the inner basket, the food will not cook properly.
Always wear oven gloves when handling the hot frying basket.
Security system. It has different interlocking systems that act simultaneously and prevent any failure: it stops automatically when the basket is removed from the body of the fryer. When it is placed back in, it resumes with the remaining time and the current settings.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Air fryer base and connection cable
To avoid electric shock or damage to your air fryer, always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet before cleaning. Make sure that all parts of the fryer have cooled down completely.
Do not immerse the power cord or your air fryer in water or any other liquids or use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
Clean the outside and inside of the fryer base with a soft, slightly damp cloth, including the heating coil.
Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning, before use or before storing the air fryer.
Make sure that all parts and surfaces are completely dry before connecting the fryer to an electrical outlet. Wet parts may cause an electric shock.
Inner basket and non-stick tray
Wash the basket and non-stick tray with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
These parts are dishwasher safe. We recommend rinsing and removing any dry food residue before washing in the dishwasher.
They have a non-stick coating. Do not use metal utensils and abrasive cleaning materials to avoid damage. For stubborn grease, mix 118 ml of baking soda and a few tablespoons of water in a small bowl to form a spreadable paste.
Using a soft sponge, spread the paste over the fryer basket and tray, rub gently. Leave for about 15 minutes before rinsing. Then wash with soap and water before using again.
Always make sure that the basket and non-stick tray are dry before attaching them to the base of the air fryer.
