Short press (< 2 seconds) and long press (> 2 seconds) functions:
- Short press to turn on, long press to turn off.
- Long press when turned off to enter setup.
- Short press in mode setting to change parameters.
What’s in the Kit:
(Please refer to the kit contents provided with the product)
Conductivity Calibration:
- Rinse the probe in pure water and shake off excess water.
- Short press to turn on the tester and long press to enter calibration mode.
- Dip the probe into the calibration solution, wait for stable icon, and confirm calibration.
- Rinse probe and repeat for additional calibration points.
FAQ:
- Q: Do I need to calibrate the tester before every use?
A: The tester comes pre-calibrated, but it is recommended to verify accuracy using calibration solutions and recalibrate if needed.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
Please install batteries according to the following steps.
Please note the correct direction of battery installation: The Positive Side
(‘+’) OF EVERY SINGLE Battery MUST FACE UP. (WRONG INSTALLATION OF BATTERIES
WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TESTER AND POTENTIAL HAZARDS!)
KEYPAD FUNCTIONS
- Short press: < 2 seconds
- Long press: > 2 seconds
WHAT’S IN THE KIT
CONDUCTIVITY CALIBRATION
- Rinse the probe in pure water (preferably distilled water) and shake off excess water. Short press ****to turn on the tester.
- Long press to enter calibration mode; (If you want to quit calibration and return to measurement mode, short press )
- Dip the probe into 1413 μS/cm calibration solution. Make a quick stir, then hold still to wait for the stable icon to show up and stay on screen (Diagram 3). Then short press to finish the 1st point calibration. The tester returns to measurement mode, and Lanyard calibration icon ****will appear at the bottom left.
- Rinse probe in distilled water and shake off excess water. Follow the steps in 4.2-4.3 to complete 2nd point calibration in 12.88 mS/cm calibration solution, tester returns to measurement mode, calibration icons ****will appear at the bottom left.
CONDUCTIVITY MEASUREMENT
- Short press ****to turn on tester. Rinse probe in pure water and shake off excess water.
- Dip the probe into your sample solution and make a quick stir. Hold still and wait for the stable reading icon ****to show up and stay on screen, then take the reading as the conductivity measurement.
- Rinse off the tester thoroughly in pure water after each test and close on the probe cap.
- Unit Conversion: 1 mS (millisiemens) = 1000 μS (microsiemens) = 1 EC (electrical conductivity)
NOTES
- If it’s first time use or the tester hasn’t been used for a long time, we recommend soaking the probe in 12.88 mS/cm solution for 15-30 minutes to restore its sensitivity and speed up the response time.
- The tester adopts 1413 μS and 12.88 mS standard calibration solutions. Users can use 1-2 point calibrations as needed. For most circumstances, calibrating in 1413 μS to complete 1st point calibration will meet testing requirements.
- Once the conductivity reading is greater than 2000 μS, the unit will automatically become mS (which equals EC).
- The tester has self-diagnosis functions:
- The tester has already been calibrated after manufacture. Usually users can use the tester right away, or test it in the calibration solutions to verify its accuracy. When error is large, calibrate it before using.
PARAMETER SETTINGS
-
Parameter setting reference chart:
SYMBOL| PARAMETER SETTING CONTENTS CODE| FACTORY DEFAULT
---|---|---
P1| Select conductivity ranges Aut-μS-mS| Aut
P2| Restore to factory default No – Yes| No -
How to setup parameters:
When turned off, long press to enter setup → short press to switch P1-P2 → Short press, parameter flickering → short press to choose, short press to confirm parameter Selection → Long press to return to measurement mode. -
Parameter setting notes
- a) Select conductivity ranges (P1): Aut– All ranges: 0 – 199.9 μS/cm, 20 – 1999 μS/cm, 2.0 – 20.0 mS/cm; Factory default is Aut.
- b) Restore to factory default: Select Yes to restore the calibration to the theoretical values and parameter setting to original values. When meter’s calibration or measurement performs abnormally, this function can be adopted so the meter goes back to factory default setting and then you can perform calibration or take measurements again.
