The accuro is a manual bellows pump used for taking measurements of gases and vapors in ambient air. It has a stroke counter and an end-of-stroke indicator for accurate and consistent measurements. The pump is designed to be lightweight, compact, and easy to use.

Product Technical Specifications

  • Hub volume: 170 mm
  • Width: 45 mm
  • Height: 85 mm
  • Weight: 250 g
  • Temperature range: 0 to 40°C
  • Humidity range: 0 to 95% non-condensing
  • Ex-approvals: ATEX

Product Preparation

Pump Leak Test

To perform a pump leak test, hold the pump with the end-of-stroke indicator and stroke counter facing the user. Squeeze the pump until it stops, then release it until the bellows are fully expanded. Repeat this process until the end-of-stroke indicator appears. Squeeze the pump completely again and repeat until the number on the stroke counter corresponds to that given in the instructions for use.

Preparing the Tube

To prepare the tube, insert the tip into the opening of the lower pump plate and keep it pressed against the ceramic edge while turning it so that the glass is scored. Pull the tube over at an angle until the tip breaks off. Discard the broken tip. Open the other end of the tube in the same way. Alternatively, turn the handle of the pump to the side and insert the tube tip in the free hole of the plate. Tilt the tube sideways until the tip breaks off. Open the other end of the tube in the same way. Caution: the tips of the tube may have sharp edges, so there is a risk of injury.

Making a Measurement

To take a measurement, hold the pump so that the end-of-stroke indicator and stroke counter are facing the user. Squeeze the pump until it stops, then release it until the bellows are fully expanded. Repeat this process until the end-of-stroke indicator appears. Squeeze the pump completely again and repeat until the number on the stroke counter corresponds to that given in the instructions for use. Evaluate the result in accordance with the instructions for use.

Product Maintenance

To clean or replace the exhaust valve, unscrew the bolt by using the hexagonal screwdriver supplied. Lift off lower pump plate, e.g., by using a coin. Pull valve disc from its seating. Wipe valve seating with a damp cloth. Moisten the stem on a new valve disc and push it into place.
