VISUAL COMFORT PCD 5200 Orsay XL Chandelier
Product Information
The Orsay XL Chandelier is a high-quality light fixture that requires professional installation. It should be installed in accordance with all applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. The chandelier comes with bulbs included, and its item number is PCD 5200. The package includes a mounting plate (A), canopy (D), collar ring (E), bottom rod (H), threaded diffusers (J), and wire nuts (B) for connecting wires.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation process, carefully inspect the item and contents to ensure there is no damage or defect. If you notice any damage or defect, do not install the chandelier.
- Remove all parts from the box and place them on a clean, soft surface.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the collar ring (E) from the canopy (D) to remove the mounting plate (A).
- Install the mounting plate (A) to the junction box and secure it with mounting screws (C).
- Feed electrical and ground wires through the bottom rod (H) and connect them to the mounting plate (A) using wire nuts (B).
- Connect the fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using a wire nut (B).
- Connect the fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using a wire nut (B). Be sure not to reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck them into the junction box.
- Install the canopy (D) to the mounting plate (A) and secure it with the collar ring (E).
- Install light bulbs into the sockets by lining up the base to holes and twisting to secure.
- Thread the diffusers (J) on the socket bases.
Care Instructions:
Clean the Orsay XL Chandelier only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.

NOTICE:
This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect item and contents carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install it. Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.
TOOLS REQUIRED

- Phillips Screwdriver
- Wire Strippers
- Slotted Screwdriver
- Wire Cutters
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.

Remove mounting plate (A) from canopy (D) by removing collar ring (E).

Install mounting plate (A) to the junction box and secure it with mounting screws (C).

Feed electrical and ground wires through the bottom rod (H) and connect to the fixture body (I). Repeat for the middle rod (G), connecting to the bottom rod (H).

Continue feeding wires through collar ring (E) and canopy (D).

Holding fixture upright, slide collar ring (E) and canopy (D) down, and rest on fixture body (I). Then connect top rod (F) to the middle rod (G). NOTE: Slide components down slowly to avoid damage.

Hang fixture swivel ball (K) to the center of mounting plate (A).

Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box. Separate wires, and strip insulation on each 5/8”.

Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (B).
NOTE : It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. -
Connect the fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (B).

Connect the fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (B).
CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections. -
Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck them into the junction box.

Install canopy (D) to mounting plate (A) and secure with collar ring (E).

Install the light bulb into the socket by lining up the base to holes and twisting to secure it.

Threaded diffusers (J) on socket bases.
Care Instructions
