PRIOR TO INSTALLATION

  1. Check for suspected damage to the heater like rips, punctures, etc.
  2. Verify surface to be heated is free from all sharp edges, weld splatter, rust, oil, etc. The surface must be cleaned prior to installing the heater.
  3. Confirm voltage/wattage rating of the heater is appropriate for the power supply device or temperature controller. The heater is designed to work at a specific voltage to heat properly. For additional information, contact your local distributor or BriskHeat® direct.

INSTALLATION

STEP 1
Remove the polyurethane bottle from the cage or pallet and remove any cardboard and/or paper insulation.

STEP 2
Place the heater in the bottom of the cage with the black (insulation) side down, and the orange (heater) side up (Figure 1). Make sure the heater is as far back from the front

CAUTION
If there are air gaps between the surface being heated and the heater, hot spots can occur and could result in burnouts due to overheating.

STEP 3
Place the bottle into the cage on top of the heater, making sure the plug and power cord are outside the cage and not under the heater (Figure 2). STEP 4
Fill the bottle with the product.
