Product Information

The CaroCare Biomolecular Scanner is a device that measures various biomolecular data for health analysis. It comes with a USB Type-C charging cable, a quick guide, and an accessories pack.

The scanner features a measurement button, a power button, a scanning area, an indicator, a screen, and a Type-C charging port.
It is compatible with devices that have Bluetooth 4.2 and above.

2. Installing amor CaroCare APP:
   • Search for “amorCaroCare” in Apple Store/Google Play or use the provided QR Code to download and install the app.
3. APP Operation Instructions:

5. Make sure you are connected to the network.
6. Open the amor CaroCare app.
7. Click on “Register” on the startup screen.
8. If not connected to the network, check the connection and try again.
9. Read and agree to the product disclaimer.
10. Enter your mobile phone number and tap “Send SMS”.
11. Verify your phone number by entering the received verification code.
12. Set a password and save it.
13. Fill in your personal information and tap “Save”.
14. Log in to your account using your mobile phone number and password.
15. Enable Bluetooth Authorization and agree to it on your phone.
16. Turn on the power of the CaroCare Biomolecular Scanner.
17. The app will automatically search for the device. If found, tap “Pair”.
18. The pairing is successful when the main screen appears with “Device Ready” displayed.
19. Measurement Operation Instructions:
20. If using the scanner for the first time, follow the steps mentioned in “Account Registration & Device Pairing”.
21. Make sure Bluetooth and Internet connectivity are enabled.
22. Login to your account in the app.
23. Turn on the power of the CaroCare Biomolecular Scanner.
24. The main screen will display “Device Ready” indicating successful pairing.
25. Press the measurement button on the device to enter pre-scan mode.
26. The detecting signal will be displayed.
27. After pre-scan mode, the measurement mode will start displaying “testing”.
28. Follow the progress of the indicator and keep your palm steady for 90 seconds.
29. When “test completed” is displayed, the measurement is successful.

Getting to know CaroCare Biomolecular Scanner

Installing amor CaroCare APP

1. Please search for amorCaroCare in Apple Store/Google Play,or use the QR Code below to download and install.
   (This product is suitable for devices with Bluetooth 4.2 and above)

2. If you need to install software on the PC, please contact the local dealer or the original service center.

APP operation instructions

Account Registration & Device Pairing
To register an account on the APP, you have to connect to the network; please check whether there is a network connection and then open the APP, and follow the instructions below to register and pair the device

1. After entering the APP startup screen, click “Register”.
2. If you are not connected to the network, the following warning message will appear: Please check the connection again. If you are already connected to the network and receive this message in error, please disregard it.
3. When you open the app for the first time, you must first agree to the product disclaimer. Please read the terms of service and check the box in front of “I am over 18 years old.”
4. Enter the mobile phone number, then tap “Send SMS”.
5. You will receive a verification code on your phone; please fill in the verification code and tap “Verify”.
6. After the verification is complete, please set a password. After the setting is complete, tap “OK”.
7. After setting the password, please fill in your personal information in the blanks, and tap “Save”.
8. After the registration is completed, please re-enter your mobile phone number and password to log in to your account.
9. After logging in, you need to pair with the device; tap “Enable Bluetooth Authorization” and agree to the Bluetooth authorization on your phone.
10. After completing the Bluetooth authorization, turn on the power of the device, and the APP will automatically search for the device. If no number is displayed, please tap “Search again”.
11. If the device is found, a number will appear; check if the number on the device is the same as the displayed number, and tap “Pair”.
12. The main screen appears, and “device ready” is displayed, indicating that the pairing is successful, and the measurement can be started.

Measurement operation instructions
If you use it for the first time, please refer to 4-1 to register an account.

1. After entering the APP startup screen, tap “Login”, and make sure that
   Bluetooth and Internet connectivity are enabled.

2. Log in to your account and turn on the power of the device.

3. The main screen appears, and “Device Ready” is displayed, indicating the pairing is successful, and the measurement can start.

4. Press the measurement button on the device; it will enter the pre-scan mode first, and the “detecting signal” will be displayed.

5. After the pre-scan mode, it will enter the measurement mode and display “testing”. Follow the progress of the indicator and keep your palm steady for 90 seconds.

6. When the message “test completed” is displayed, it means that the measurement has been successful.

Information on other messages

• The main screen appears, and it shows “device not connected”.
• Please go to “Settings” to re-pair successfully, and you can start measuring.
• In scan mode – if you press the measurement button, it will display “signal cannot be analyzed”.
• In the measurement mode, if it displays “No signal detected”, it means that your palm may have left the device during the measurement; please try again.

Measurement method

1. The 1.2.3 measuring points of the device must be aligned with the relative position of the palm as shown in the figure. relative position of the palm as shown in the figure.

2. First place the lower part of the palm above the measuring point 1.2. of the device.
   Note that the palm must completely cover measuring point 1.2.
   If the detection point can still be seen between the palm and the device, please move the palm slightly so that the palm can completely cover it.

3. After completely covering measurement points 1 and 2 of the device with the lower part of your palm, let your fingers rest naturally, and then cover the measurement area of measurement point 3 with your palm.
   At this time, it is still necessary to pay attention to whether the measurement points 1 and 2 are covered under the palm.

4. Use the other hand to press the measurement button to start the measurement.

Warnings and Precautions

This product is only for evaluation and does not provide any function of disease diagnosis.

• This product should avoid strong impact, drop and vibration.
• Do not let children use this product alone without the company of an adult.
• When the product is being used for measurement, do not look directly at the light source of the product.
• If you experience any skin discomfort after the measurement, seek medical attention immediately.
• Do not place the product on an unstable table to prevent the product from tipping or falling and being damaged.
• Do not use or store this product in harsh environments, such as direct sunlight, high temperature, humidity, or near fire sources.
• Do not disassemble or modify this product by yourself.
• Do not measure and use outside the palm of your hand.
• Do not put this product in water.

How to use the device

When the device is connected to the APP:

1. Please press the power button of the device for about 2 seconds to turn on the device, and the pairing code will be displayed at this time. Start pairing the device with the APP.
2. After the pairing is successful, the indicator turns blue, and the startup screen is displayed as above.
3. Place your palm (either left or right hand) on the ball, and the palm must completely cover the three detection areas, as shown in the figure.
4. Press the measurement button to start the measurement procedure.
5. The device will first enter the pre-scan mode, at this time the indicator will move back and forth.
6. After the pre-scan mode is completed, it will enter the measurement mode. According to the progress of the indicator, keep the palm steady for about 90 seconds.
7. After the measurement is finished, the indicator will turn yellow; move your palm away from the ball, and you can get the result on the device screen.
8. After use, the device will automatically power off if left idle for five minutes.

When the device is not connected to the APP

1. Press the power button of the device for about 2 seconds to turn on the power.
2. After turning on the power of the device, press the measurement button, and the screen will display the above startup screen.
3. Press the measurement button to start the measurement.
4. The device enters the pre-scan mode; at this time the indicator will move back and forth.
5. After the pre-scan mode is completed, it will enter the measurement mode. According to the progress of the indicator, keep the palm steady for about 90 seconds.
6. After the measurement is finished, the indicator will turn white; move your palm away from the ball, and you can get the result on the device screen (no carotenoid value).
7. After use, the device will automatically power off if left idle for five minutes.

Other conditions of the device

During the measurement, if the indicator is red, it means there were errors in the measurement; please restart the measurement.

Charging the device

Precautions for charging:

• It is recommended to charge the battery for 8 hours for the first time (more than 100 continuous measurements can be made), and it takes about 8 hours to recharge each time the battery is exhausted.
• When the battery is low (less than 20%), a low battery symbol will be displayed on the screen.
• When the battery power is lower than 10%, the device will automatically shut down.

Battery charging steps:
Please connect the charging cable to the USB Type-C port, and then connect the other end of the cable to the power supply. (When charging, the screen will display the charging progress)

Maintenance and cleaning

1. It is recommended to wipe the surface of the instrument gently with a clean soft cloth dampened with a little water or 75% alcohol at least once a month.
2. Store this product in accordance with the environmental conditions specified in the product specification to avoid damage to the machine.
