the instructions listed below could result in damage to the product and / or
cause serious injury
PRELIMINARY WARNINGS
- Read these instructions.
- Keep this manual.
- Follow the instructions faithfully.
- Protect the power cord from possible damage.
- For assistance, contact only qualified personnel. In the event of problems or damage to the inflator, it is necessary to contact assistance.
- Do not disassemble the device. Incorrect reassembly can cause short circuits.
- Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid placing objects on or around the inflator during operation.
- Do not block the air vents.
- The inflator produces vibrations that could generate a displacement of the same. Do not place the device on high floors and monitor its movements.
- Do not use the inflator with adapters other than those provided in the package, they could damage the device.
- Keep the device out of the reach of children
****DO NOT POWER THE INFLATOR AT A HIGHER VOLTAGE THAN NOMINAL
INTRODUCTION
The GE BTP-2 MiMa represents the evolution of two inflators such as the GE BP1 and the GE BTP-1. It is suitable for many applications but is ideal for SUP, being able to reach 1.2 bar (18 psi) of maximum pressure. It is equipped with a special pressure gauge for selecting the desired pressure. When it is reached, it stops automatically
RECOMMENDED USES
Rubber boats (max 3m), kites, SUP boards, rafts, air mattresses, pool inflatables

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
-
ALWAYS CONSIDER THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT.
Do not expose the inflator to rain. Do not use in the presence of flammable liquids or gases. -
AVOID UNINTENTIONAL STARTINGS.
Do not start the inflator with the inlet in contact with dust or water. -
CHECK THAT THERE ARE NO DAMAGED PARTS.
Before using the inflator make sure that the external parts are intact and that the inflator works as described. -
DO NOT USE the inflator near flammable liquids or gaseous or explosive atmospheres. The
engine of this inflator produces sparks and these can ignite fumes. -
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INHALE!
The compressed air coming from the inflator is not pure. Never inhale air from the inflator or from a breathing device connected to the inflator. -
ATTENTION! RISK OF EXPLOSION.
Inflate to the pressure recommended by the inflatable manufacturer. Excessive pressure can cause a burst that is dangerous to people. -
NEVER LEAVE THE DEVICE WITHOUT SOMEONE’S SUPERVISION.
Excessive pressure can cause a burst that is dangerous to people. -
ATTENTION! RISK OF MALFUNCTIONING.
Do not modify or attempt to repair. Do not perforate the casing or make any changes to the inflator or its parts. -
ATTENTION! RISK OF FIRE.
Allow the inflator to cool down for 10 minutes after using it for up to 20 minutes. Prolonged use can cause overheating and damage the product. -
Never transport the pump by the hose or cable.
-
BE CAREFUL.
Care must always be taken. Use common sense.
USE AND OPERATION
INFLATION OPERATION
- Connect the hose to the inflatable.
- Connect the other end of the hose to the inflation port (OUT – point 3 fig.1) of the inflator.
- Connect the cable with alligator clips (point 6 fig.1) to an external battery
- Connect the BMC2S universal connector to the inflator. (point 7 fig.1)
- Set the desired pressure on the pressure gauge (point 5 fig.1)
- Press the start button (ON).
- When the set pressure is reached, the inflator automatically switches off.You can stop the inflator at any time by pressing the stop button (OFF).
ATTENTION
In case crocodile clips are used, make sure of the correct polarity (red
terminal connected to the positive of the battery). Otherwise the inflator
will not start
ATTENTION
Do not run the inflator for more than 20 minutes and, subsequently, cool the
unit for 10 minutes before reuse.
ATTENTION
With the device under pressure, never turn the pressure regulator or the
manometer ring counterclockwise. This would cause the instrument to break
immediately
ATTENTION
Consider the maximum and adequate inflation pressure of the object to be
inflated. Always set the maximum recommended pressure using the pressure
regulator or the gauge nut. Do not over inflate.
ATTENTION
Protect from sand, keeping the inflator inside the supplied bag: the entry of
sand into the inflator can cause it to jam.
BATTERY STATUS LIGHT
The LED under the gauge ring defines the battery charge status. During
operation, the gauge LED will show three different colours:
GREEN: battery charged.
YELLOW: battery low.
RED: low battery
DEFLATION OPERATION
- Connect the other end of the hose to the deflation port (IN – point 2 fig.1) of the inflator.
- Connect the cable with alligator clips (point 6 fig.1) to an external battery
- Connect the BMC2S universal connector to the inflator. (point 7 fig.1)
- Press the start button (ON).
- Once the inflator has been emptied stop the inflator by pressing the OFF button (point 4 fig.1)
DURING THE DEFLATION PHASE THE INFLATOR DOES NOT TURN OFF AUTOMATICALLY.
ACCESSORIES
Accessories recommended for your inflator are available from your dealer or
authorized service centers.
ATTENTION
The use of any accessory not recommended for this inflator can be dangerous.
MAINTENANCE OF THE ANTI-SAND FILTER
The inflator is equipped with a filter compartment located under the deflation
fitting (IN). It is recommended to keep it clean for a longer life and
efficiency of the inflator.
**HOW TO CLEAN THE ANTI-SAND FILTER
**
- Unscrew the two screws that block the deflation fitting (IN).
- Lift the fitting and extract the filter.
- Clean with compressed air or, if excessively dirty, replace it.
- Reassemble the fitting and tighten the fixing screws.
