Roth Touchline PL Wireless Room Thermostat

Product Information

This product is a thermostat that helps regulate temperature in a room. It requires batteries for operation and needs to be paired with a zone or channel for usage. The product comes with a backplate that needs to be mounted on the wall before sliding the thermostat onto it. The buttons on the front of the thermostat can be locked to prevent accidental changes, and the current temperature, battery level, and sensor calibration value can be viewed on the screen.

Usage Instructions

To set/change temperature, press the +/- button.
To view battery level, select “Bat” and the screen will flash for 3 seconds displaying the level.
To view sensor calibration value, select “Cal” and the screen will flash for 3 seconds displaying the value. The value can be changed on the controller as per user manual instructions.
To lock buttons, select “Loc” and confirm activation with “yes/no”. The lock will be activated after 10 seconds of inactivity. To unlock, press and hold +/- and when “Ulc” appears, the buttons will be unlocked.
To return from MENU manually, select “Ret” and the screen will flash for 3 seconds returning to view of current temperature.

Pairing/registering

Pairing/registering the thermostat to a zone (channel). All connections must be made to the Controller (pump, actuators and optionally potential free relay) before start-up. Please see controller manual for details. Attention! Do not press the buttons on the front of the thermostat whilst pushing the pairing button on the rear (see picture 11). $Roth-Touchline-PL-Wireless-Room- Thermostat- $6$$

Once the thermostat is connected to the Zone/Channel, the overview shows: – Temperatures on the thermostat (setpoint 22,0°C, actual 25,0°C) , battery (99%), signal strenght (100% – must be at least 10%!!) and mode of operation (CON = continously). For more info on the display, see controller manual. Repeat registration for other thermostats, by choosing one of the other zones (2 to 8) until required number of thermostas are connected.
Attention! If a thermostat is paired to the wrong zone, do not delete the thermostat. Pair the thermostat to the correct/new zone and the old pairing will be deleted.

Operation of thermostat

In order to enter MENU, press and hold + and – button. Use +/- to navigate between MENU settings.

In sleepmode the current temperature is displayed. To set/change temperature press +/- button.
After setting the new temperature ”Con” will be shown. If you press – (minus) button you will be able to set a number of hours for this new temperature. After this the temperature wil return to the previous setting. If the new temperature should be continous, don’t touch the – button. $Roth-Touchline-PL-Wireless-Room-Thermostat- $8$$
Enables you to view battery level. After selecting ”Bat” the screen flashes for 3 sec. and the level is displayed.
Enables you to view the sensor calibration value. After selecting ”Cal” the screen flashes for 3 sec. and the value is displayed. Value can be changed on the Controller, please see user manual.
Enables you to lock the buttons. After selecting ”Loc” the screen flashes for 3 sec. You can choose/confirm to activate the lock with yes/no. After activating ”Loc” (yes) the lock will be activated after 10 sec. of inactivity. To unlock press and hold +/- and when ”Ulc” appears the buttons are unlocked.
Enables you to restore factory settings on the sensor. After selecting ”Def” the screen flashes for 3 sec. you confirm/choose (yes/ no) with +/ – button and after 3 sec. the reset will be done.
Enables you to return from the MENU manually. After selecting ”Ret” the screen flashes for 3 sec. and you return to view of the current temperature. $Roth-Touchline-PL-Wireless-Room-Thermostat- $13$$
