Product Information

The product is a smart battery-powered smoke detector with a built-in alarm system. The device is designed to detect smoke and fire and alert the user with an audible alarm. The device can be connected to the ELKO SmartHub, which allows for remote monitoring of the device through a mobile application. The product comes with two plugs, a main label, installation instructions, and a dust cover.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Choose an appropriate location to install the smoke detector. Refer to the installation instructions for more information.
  2. Connect the device to the ELKO SmartHub using the provided instructions. If you do not have a SmartHub, follow the instructions to connect multiple devices without a hub.
  3. Test the smoke detector by pressing the “Push to Test/Hush” button. The device should produce an audible alarm.
  4. To silence the alarm, press the “Push to Test/Hush” button again.

Note: Regularly test and maintain your smoke detector to ensure proper functionality. Refer to the maintenance section of the user manual for more information.

Caution

  1. This product is for indoor use only, do not use outdoors or in humid environments.
  2. Power supply: adapter 12V/2A,power box 12V/1A.
  3. The motor will jog in operation, please do not proceed to the next step until it is complete.
  4. During operation, the effective interval of the transmitter button operation is 10 seconds. If there is no effective transmitter operation for more than 10 seconds, it will automatically exit the current mode.
  5. The motor can be paired with max 10 controllers.
  6. Upper&Lower limits cannot be set at the same position, limits are saved even power off.
  7. The motor runs constantly for 6 mins max without any other operation.
  8. Do not lift the motor by grabbing and pulling the power wire or the antenna.

Note: Pairing can not be done under group channels or 0 channels.

Direction Reverse

If the limits are not set, and direction goes opposite.

Note: Do reverse the direction when it goes opposite.

Upper &Lower Limits Setting

Note: Upper&Lower limits cannot be set at the same point. Before limits are set, the motor will run in one-touch mode by pressing Up or Down, holding Up or Down for 2s, motor runs in constant-touch mode. Once limits are set, press Up or Down, motor runs in constant-touch mode.

The same operation can toggle from one-touch to constant-touch mode.
Note: When the motor is in one-touch mode, hold it Up or Down for more than 2s, it will run in constant-touch mode.

Note: All the settings are saved even controllers removed(limits set are saved. Controller A/B are already paired to motor.

Canceling Limits

Note: It is forbidden to run the motor if installed into the shade without limits. Limits should be set immediately to protect the shade.

Installation & Connecting to external Zigbee module network

  • Working voltage: 3V-3.6V
  • Supporting protocol: 802.11B/G/N20
  • Certification: CE, FCC
  • Working Temperature: -10°C~55°C
  • For Indoor Use only

Connection requirement

  • Make sure the phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network
  • The Tuya Zigbee gateway device needs to be added to the “Smart Life” APP firstly, please refer to its manual for details.

Download APP

  • Search “Smart Life” in the app store or scan the QR code
  • Complete account registration and login to the app

Add Device
Power on, insert Zigbee module to motor module connection wire

Wait for 10s to see if the indicator is blinking

If the indicator didn’t blink, pls try:
Method 1: Long insert the RESET button until the indicator blinks, the motor’s ready to Zigbee connection

Note: You can try Method 2 if it is not easy to insert RESET on the module
Method 2: Short Press Pr on the back of the controller, motor jogs once; short press Down, the motor jogs once, then short press UP, the motor jogs once, and the blue indicator blinks which means the motor enters Zigbee connection status.ELKO-EKO09761-Smart-Smoke-Alarm-

Find the added Tuya Zigbee gateway on the “Smart Life” App, click “+” to add a sub-device, and then click “LED already blink”, the APP will automatically search for motor deviceELKO-EKO09761-Smart-Smoke-Alarm-

The Zigbee module indicator is always on after a successful network connection.
