CAUTION IMPORTANT: READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLYBEFORE USING THE
POWER TOOL AND KEEP IT FOR FUTUREREFERENCE.
DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
-
Hold power tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when carrying out activities where the cutting element may come into contact with hidden tooling or its own cord. The cutting member that comes into contact with the live wire can cause exposed metal parts of the power tool to come into contact with voltage, which can shock the operator.
-
Use clamps or other practical means to securely clamp and support the workpiece on a stable platform. Holding the workpiece with your hand or against your body makes it unstable and can lead to loss of control.
-
After finishing work, switch off the jigsaw. The saw blade can be removed from the workpiece while it is stationary. This avoids kickback and you can put the power tool down safely.
-
Use only undamaged blades which are in a technically perfect condition. Bent, unsharp saw blades can break. Additionally, they can affect the cut line as well as cause or contribute to kickback.
-
Dusts of some species or certain types of wood can be hazardous to health, as well as cause allergic reactions, respiratory problems, or lead to cancer.
− During cutting, use a dust mask to protect the respiratory tract against cutting dust.
− Use a dust extraction when cutting wood.
− Always ensure that the workplace is well ventilated. -
Do not use a jigsaw to cut through the water pipes. Cutting the pipe causes material damage or may cause an electric shock.
-
Before starting work, carefully check the material to avoid cutting nails, screws and other hard objects.
-
Material whose dimensions (thickness) exceed the dimensions given in the technical data must not be cut.
-
Hold the jigsaw with your hand closed.
-
Make sure the jigsaw is not touching the material before pressing the switch.
-
Do not touch the jigsaw while it is still moving. Do not turn off the jigsaw before grabbing it with your hand.
-
Do not touch the saw blade or the material being processed immediately after finishing work. These components can be very hot and may cause burns.
-
If any abnormal behavior or an unusual noise is heard from the power tool, switch it off immediately and disconnect the plug from the power socket.
-
The air vents in the jigsaw body should be free to ensure proper cooling.
-
Before connecting the jigsaw to a power socket, always make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the device’s rating plate.
-
Before connecting the jigsaw, always check the power cord, if damaged, have it replaced by an authorized workshop.
-
The power cord of the jigsaw should always be on the safe side where it cannot be accidentally damaged by an operating power tool.
Attention! The device is designed to work indoors.
Despite the inherently safe construction, the use of safety measures and
additional protective measures, there is always a residual risk of injury
during work.

PREPARATION TO WORK
FASTENING THE SAW BLADE
Installation and replacement of the saw blade is carried out in the
followingsteps:
- Turn the blade locking knob clockwise ( fig. C ).
- Place the saw blade in the holder with the teeth facing forward.
- Turn the knob back to the starting position. Check that the saw bladeis properly seated.
- To remove the saw blade, turn the saw blade lock knob clockwise. The grip will be released.
Note: The saw blade may jump out of the holder abruptly whenremoved. Inspect the tip of the saw blade and keep it away from yourface. Do not touch the saw blade immediately after use as it may bevery hot. Use gloves.
Note: Only use saw blades with a T-clamping system ( fig. D ).
DRAINING DUST
To use the dust extraction function, please follow the steps below:
- Connect the suction hose of the dust extraction system to the socket ( fig. G ). Make sure that there is a tight connection.
- Move the dust suction switch to the rear position ( Fig. H ).
Note: Do not use dust extraction when cutting material generatessparks.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
ON / OFF
Note: Before connecting the jigsaw to the mains, always check that the mains
voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the rating plate on the power
tool.
- It is turned on by pressing the rear part of the switch. Release the pressure to switch off.
- Locking for continuous operation is done by pressing the switch in this position forwards. Pulling the switch back will turn the appliance off ( fig. E ).
REGULATING THE JIGSAW WORKING SPEED
The speed of the jigsaw motor is regulated by turning and setting the speed
control knob. This allows you to adjust the speed of the power tool to the
properties of the material being processed. The higher the number around the
circumference of the knob, the faster the jigsaw will run ( fig. F ).
Pendulum control
Using the pendulum control knob, you can adjust the pitch of the saw blade in
order to obtain the best possible cut quality for each material.
- Setting 0 – metal plates and sheets, materials susceptible to fraying
- Setting 1 – plastics
- Setting 2 – hard wood
- Setting 3 – soft wood.
When cutting metal, it is recommended to use saw blades with more teeth and a suitable coolant. Cutting without coolant leads to premature wear of the saw blade. The indicative selection of the saw blade is specified in the table below:
Teeth per inch | Blade length | Scope of application |
---|---|---|
24 | 80 mm | Mild steel, non-ferrous metal |
14 | Non-ferrous metals, plastics | |
9 | Wood, plywood |
SLOPE ADJUSTMENT
The adjustable jigsaw foot allows you to make miter cuts in the following
positions: 0 °, ± 15 °, ± 30 °, ± 45 °.
- Disconnect the device from the power supply
- Using the hex key, loosen the two screws on the bottom of the foot.
- Pull the foot away from the step foot, tilt it to the required angle.
- Place the foot in the appropriate angle slot. Lock the foot in the desired position by tightening both screws.
CUTTING
- Place the forefoot flat on the material to be cut.
- Start the jigsaw and wait for it to reach the set maximum speed.
- Move the jigsaw by guiding the saw blade along the previously marked cutting line.
- When cutting curved lines, guide the jigsaw very carefully.
Make the cut evenly and take care not to overload the jigsaw. Excessive pressure on the saw blade will inhibit the movement of the saw blade, which will affect the cutting performance.
Note: If the entire surface of the jigsaw foot is not in contact with the workpiece surface during operation, but is raised above it, there is a risk of the saw blade breaking.
CUTTING A HOLE IN THE MATERIAL
- Drill a hole in the material having a diameter of 10 mm.
- Insert the saw blade into the hole and start cutting from the hole made.
ASSEMBLY OF THE GUIDE FOR PARALLEL CUTTING
- Unplug the power cord.
- Place the saw blade in the holder and clamp it.
- Loosen the screws and insert the guide into the hole. Adjust the position of the guide to the required distance.
