Product Usage Instructions

To use the G.1021 LED work light with Bluetooth/FM radio, follow these steps:

  1. Charge the device using the original power adapter provided.
  2. Do not short-circuit the battery by directly connecting the positive and negative terminals. This can cause a fire.
  3. If the battery leaks, immediately flush it with water and neutralize it with a weak acid like lemon juice or vinegar. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for at least 10 minutes and consult a doctor.
  4. To switch to Bluetooth mode, press the Bluetooth button. The display will show “BT”. Open the Bluetooth settings on your paired device and connect to “AST315”. A successful connection will be indicated by the message “the Bluetooth device is connected successfully”.
  5. To switch to FM mode, extend the antenna and press the mode button until the display shows “FM”. Use the previous/next buttons to tune into your desired station.
  6. Adjust the volume using the volume buttons. Press and hold the buttons to increase/decrease the volume.
  7. Press the pause/play button to play or pause audio playback.
  8. The LED work light can also be turned on/off using the power switch.

Safety information

This is not a toy. Children should not be permitted to use it. All electronic parts are fixed already, any intention of opening work light or changing work- light design is prohibitive unless a professional electrician. The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
Do not attempt to replace or change the diode lights! If the protective glass is cracked or broken, it must be replaced before the work light can be used again.
Additional safety instructions for batteries.

  1. Never attempt to open for any reason.
  2. Do not store in locations where the temperature may exceed 40°C.
  3. Charge only at ambient temperatures between 4°C and 40°C.
  4. Charge only using the charger provided with the tool.
  5. Do not cause short circuits. If connection is made between the positive and negative terminal directly or via accidental contact with metallic objects, the battery is short circuited and an intense current will flow causing head generation which may lead to casing rupture or fire.
  6. Do not heat. If batteries are heated to above 75°C, sealing and insulating separators and other polymer components may be damaged resulting in electrolyte leakage and / or internal short circuiting. Moreover, do not dispose of the batteries in fire, explosion and / or intense burning may result.
  7. Under extreme conditions, battery leakage may occur. When you notice liquid on the battery, carefully wipe the liquid with a cloth, avoid skin contact. In case of skin contact:
    • Immediately rinse with water. Neutralize with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar.
    • In case of eye contact, rinse abudantly with clean water for at least 10 minutes. Consult a physician.
  8. Fire hazard. Avoid short-circuiting the contacts of a detached battery. Do not incinerate the battery.

Additional safety instructions for chargers.

  1. The power supply is designed for indoor use only. It is recommended to use the output power supply 21 V dc, 2A.
  2. Do not attempt to recharge alkaline batteries.
  3. Replace damaged cables immediately.
  4. Do not expose to water.
  5. Do not open the power supply.
  6. Do not probe the power supply.
  7. The power supply is designed for indoor use only.
  8. Do not use the flashlight if the radio is connected to the power supply.

Led On / Off button
The work light is equipped with LED on / off button located on the back side of the work light, which can adjust the LED work light’s brightness. Press the button to turn on LED with brightness of 25%. 2nd press: 50%. 3rd press: 100%. 4th press: off.
Note: Keep this unit away from water when charging. Unplug from the mains when using outdoors.
Warning: Do not stare directly at the light beam. Never aim the beam at any person or an object other than the work piece. Ensure that beam is not directed towards the eye of a person for longer than 0,25 s.

Bluetooth
Turn on the Bluetooth function with Bluetooth button. The same button is used to turn off the function. Use mode button to choose Bluetooth mode. BT will be shown on display.
Open Bluetooth settings on your smartphone or tablet. Choose AST315 on Bluetooth device list to connect. Proper pairing will be indicated by “The Bluetooth device is connected successfully” prompt.

FM mode
Pull the radio antenna out and select FM mode. Prompt: “FM tuner”.

Maintenance

Your work light requires very little care and maintenance. Simply clean the lens regularly with a non-abrasive cleaner. We recommend the work light to be completely discharged every one month and fully recharged again. Only store with a fully charged battery and top-up the charge from time to time if stored for a long time (we recommend the work light to be completely discharged every three months and fully recharged again). Store in a dry and frost-free place, the ambient temperature should not exceed 40°C.
Warning: Always make sure the work light is off and complete cool before attempting to clean it.
