SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• For outdoor use.
• The product must be connected to an earthed power supply.
• Always follow the electrical specifications on the product labelling.
• Always switch off the power supply before installation, connection and maintenance.
• Never modify the product, this could result in serious personal injury and/or material damage, and will invalidate the warranty.
• Do not use the product without the glass cover. Replace a damaged glass front immediately.
• Do not use the light if the power cord or plug are damaged in any way. To ensure safe use the power cord should only be replaced or repaired by an authorised service centre.
• The product gets hot when it is switched on. Do not touch the product with bare hands.
• Switch off and allow the product to cool before replacing the light source.
• Do not look directly at the light source.
• There must be a gap of at least 50 cm between the product and illuminated objects and surfaces.

INSTALLATION

1. Fit the light on the earth spike.
2. Undo the screws holding the glass cover. Lift off the glass cover.
3. Insert the light source.
4. Fit the glass cover and fasten it with the screws.
5. Lay out the connection cord. Make sure to place it so that nobody can trip over it.
6. Place the plug (do not plug in yet) next to the power point to which the light is to be connected.
7. Press the spike into the ground and make sure the cord reaches the extension cord.
8. Plug the plug into the mains.

MAINTENANCE

NOTE:

Switch off the power supply before cleaning.

1. Switch off the power supply to the light.
2. Wipe the light with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
3. Wait until the light is completely dry before switching the power supply on again.

NOTE: Do not use detergents, alcohol, solvents, or the equivalent to clean.

REPLACING THE LIGHT SOURCE

NOTE: Switch off and allow the light source to cool before replacing.

1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Remove the glass cover.
3. Carefully unscrew the light source.
4. Carefully insert the new light source.
5. Replace the glass cover before switching on the light source.
