ICM CONTROLS GE AV ARC Soft Starter
Product Information
The product is a soft starter with a terminal block, capacitor, PTCR, and overload switch. It has a legend with different symbols including S (Start), C (Common), H (Hermetic), R (Run), OL (Overload Switch), F (Fan), and RS (Compressor). It is manufactured by GE AV ARC.
Product Usage Instructions
Before servicing any electrical component, make sure to disconnect the power supply to avoid shock hazard. Follow the below instructions for product usage:
- Locate the terminal block and connect L1 and L2 wires to Black and White wires respectively.
- Connect the 3-way Black Spliced wire to the capacitor’s C Run terminal.
- Connect the White wire to the capacitor’s F terminal and the Red wire to the capacitor’s C terminal.
- Connect the PTCR’s White wire to the capacitor’s C terminal, Red wire to the C Run terminal, and White wire to the F terminal.
- Connect the compressor’s Black, Brown, and Blue wires to the Hermetic (H) terminals.
- Connect the Fan’s Red wire to the Run (R) terminal.
- Connect the Overload Switch’s White and Red wires to the RS terminals.
- Once all connections are made, turn on the power supply to activate the soft starter.
Note: In case of overload, the OL switch will trip and disconnect the power supply automatically. Reset the switch after resolving the issue.
