CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE THE COVER ON THIS LIGHT. THERE ARE NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER ALL SERVICING TO A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. NEVER look directly at the laser emitter as serious eye injury can occur. This symbol indicates that there is laser radiation emitted from this unit. The lightning flash with the arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of dangerous voltage within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to humans. Users should exhibit extra safety when this symbol appears in this instruction manual and follow all precautions as they are stated.

Product Information:

• This product is for indoor use only.
• The unit should never be connected to any kind of external AC dimmer. Operate only at the intended voltage.
• Always use a safety chain or cable between the unit and the overhead suspension truss to ensure the safety of persons.
• Make sure the power cord is never pinched or damaged.
• Do not store or operate this product near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• Protect all wires connected to this unit from being walked on or pinched, particularly plugs and the point where they exit from the unit. When removing the cord from the power outlet, remove it by holding the plug not by pulling the cord.
• Unplug the unit during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Allow the unit to cool down after 1 or 2 hours of continuous operation to prevent heat stress damage.

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Read these instructions thoroughly before using this item. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions.
2. Disconnect from the power source before servicing.
3. Replace the fuse with the same type and rating.
4. Make sure the distance between the fixture and the lighted object is not less than 0.5 meters. Keep combustible and/or explosive materials away from this unit. Do not block the ventilation slots.
5. In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using the unit immediately. Never try to repair the unit by yourself. Repairs carried out by unskilled people can lead to damage or malfunction. Please return the unit to the nearest authorized technical assistance center.
6. When wiring this unit and all other equipment used in connection to this unit make sure that all of your equipment is turned OFF.
7. Never disconnect the power cord by pulling or tugging on the cord.
8. Never carry the fixture directly from the cord. Always use the hanging/mounting bracket.

6. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding plug has two blades and a round grounding prong. The wide blade or third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.
7. Protect all wires connected to this unit from being walked on or pinched, particularly plugs and the point where they exit from the unit. When removing the cord from the power outlet, remove it by holding the plug not by pulling the cord.

Before placing, installing, rigging, or suspending any product, inspect all hardware, suspension, cabinets, transducers, brackets and associated equipment for damage. Any missing, corroded, deformed, or non-load rated component could significantly reduce the strength of the installation, placement or array. Any such condition severely reduces the safety of the installation and should be immediately corrected. Use only hardware which is rated for the loading conditions of the installation and any possible short-term, unexpected overloading. Never exceed the rating of the hardware or equipment.
17. ALWAYS use a safety chain or cable between the unit and overhead suspension truss to ensure safety to persons.
18. Consult a licensed, Professional Engineer regarding physical equipment installation. Ensure that all local, state and national regulations regarding the safety and operation of equipment are understood and adhered to.
19. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, suchas power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Thank you for choosing our LED Flat Par Can (ORCAN4). For your own safety, please read this manual before installing the device. This manual covers the important information on installation and applications. Please install and operate the fixture with the following instructions. This LED Flat Par Can (ORCAN4) uses 18 x 10W RGBWA + UV 6 in 1 LEDs, the LEDs are used for their long life, low power consumption, high brightness and excellent color. The LED Flat Par Can (ORCAN4) has multiple control modes including automatic, manual, audio chase and DMX. It can be used for many different scenarios including stage lighting, theatre lighting, or anywhere that needs lighting.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Don’t turn on the device if it’s been through severe temperature changes, especially after transportation. Operate at a stable temperature, avoiding drastic temperature changes to help avoid damage to the LEDs (etc) due to these environment changes.
2. Avoid excessive shock or vibration of this device during transportation or when being moved.
3. Do not handle the light by the head only to help stop any damage to the mechanical parts.
4. Do not expose the device to excessive heat, moisture or environments with dust, especially during installation. Also, to avoid electric shock, do not run the power lines across the floor.
5. Make sure the location of install is in safe and in good condition before installing the device.
6. Ensure the safety chain is secured properly and check whether the screws are fastened properly.
7. Make sure the lenses are in good condition, it’s recommended to replace any lens if there is any damage or scratches.
8. Make sure the device is operated by qualified personnel who know how to operate the device.
9. It’s recommended to keep the original packaging.
10. Do not try to change or modify the device without any instruction by the manufacturer, a qualified technician and authorized service agent.
11. The warranty is void if there are any malfunctions due to not following the owner’s manual instructions or if operated if not in fully working condition (short circuit, electronic shock, lamp broke, etc.).

MENU OPERATIONS

• Press “MENU” to select a function (for detailed description please see the “Operation Menu” section of this Manual.
• Press the “UP” or “DOWN” button to modify values.
• Press “ENTER” to confirm and save the settings.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The following need to be considered during the inspection:

1. There must not be any deformations on the housing (ceiling, suspension, trussing).
2. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage, material fatigue, or sediments.

Further instructions, depending on the installation area and usage, have to be adhered to by a skilled installer and any safety concerns must be removed.

CAUTION! Disconnect from mains before starting maintenance operation.
In order to keep the device in good condition and extend its

DMX 6-Channel Control lifetime, we suggest regular cleaning.

1. Clean the lenses each week to avoid the lights being affected due to the accumulation of dust.
2. Clean frequently using a moist, lint-free cloth, never use alcohol or solvents. Should you need spare parts, please order genuine parts from your local dealer.

CASCADE INSTALLATION

The ORCAN4 provides a convenience outlet which can minimize wiring and improve overall safety when used properly. Please carefully read all of the important safety tips shown below for long and safe use of your lighting equipment.

IMPORTANT

1. Do not overload the convenience outlet. Make sure power drawn from the first outlet does not exceed the limits shown on the chassis.
2. Always inspect the cords and plugs before use. Do not use outlets or cords that have exposed wiring, are worn or damaged. Replace electrical cords that have worn or damaged insulation and remember to pull the plug, not the cord to extend the life of the cord itself.
3. The AC supply cord should be routed so that it is unlikely that it will be damaged. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched. If the AC supply cord is damaged DO NOT OPERATE THE UNIT. To completely disconnect this apparatus from the AC Mains, disconnect the power supply cord plug from the AC receptacle. The mains plug of the power supply cord shall remain readily operable. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. Route cords away from traffic to avoid tripping hazards and unnecessary wear on the power cord.
4. Never Break Off the Third Prong on a Plug. Replace broken 3-prong plugs and make sure the third prong is properly grounded.
5. Keep line cords away from heat, water and oil. They can damage the insulation and create a shock hazard.
6. Do not tie cords in tight knots. Knots can cause short circuits and shocks. Loop the cords or use a twist lock plug.
7. Be aware that unusually warm or hot outlets or cords may be a sign that an unsafe wiring condition exists. Unplug any cords or extension cords from these outlets and do not use until a qualified electrician has checked the wiring. The AC power cords supplied purposefully have 2 blades and one grounding prong. If your outlet is not equipped to handle this type of plug, do not attempt to forcefully plug this AC power cord into the outlet, and do not alter the plug so that it can fit in the outlet. The only course of action you can take is to find another outlet which is properly equipped to handle a grounded plug or have an electrician upgrade your electrical outlet. Be sure that the plug is well connected so that it does not disconnect in the middle of usage. If at any point in time the supplied AC power cord is punctured or damaged replace it with a new power cord from a local electrician. Always connect the fixture to a circuit with a suitable electrical ground. To determine the power requirements for a particular fixture, see the label current rating at the ratings plate of the fixture. A fixture’s listed current rating indicates its average current draw under normal conditions.

To ensure the convenience outlet is never overloaded follow thew following steps:

• Mark down the RATED INPUT current for all devices connected to the convenience outlet.
• Calculate the sum of all of these currents to get the total current drawn from the outlet.
• Make sure this total current is less than the MAX current rating marked below the outlet. Keep in mind the MAX current is the power available from the very first convenience outlet.

MOUNTING

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES

• ALWAYS mount the light to a secure approved truss with sufficient load-bearing capability to ensure a safe installation.
• ALWAYS use a galvanized steel wire as a secondary safeguard to prevent injury to property or persons in case the primary mounting mechanism fails. 12 gauge stranded steel utility wire will serve as an adequate safety cable for the ORION products lights weighing less than 12 kg / 25 lb.
• This secondary safety attachment must not interfere with the positioning of the light.
• ALWAYS ensure C-clamps are fully tightened with thread-lock adhesive and properly orient the C-clamps for maximum security;
• ALWAYS perform periodic safety inspections to ensure the installation is safe and secure
• Improper installation can result in bodily injury or death. If you are not qualified to attempt the installation get help from a professional structural rigger.
