Product Information

The electronic temperature controller with underfloor sensor is a device that helps maintain a set air temperature or floor temperature automatically. It has independent heating circuits that can be set individually, making it particularly important in cases where electric or water underfloor heating is the only heating system. The device comes with a power supply module, underfloor temperature sensor (probe), and an external frame of ICON series. It also has knob limiters, an adapter control module, and an intermediate frame.

Product Usage Instructions

Note: Assembly shall be held by a suitably qualified person with deactivated voltage and shall meet the national safety standards.

Install the electronic temperature controller with underfloor sensor according to the assembly manual provided.
Connect the power supply module to the AC 230V, 50Hz power source.
Connect the electric or water underfloor heating to the load range specified in the technical data.
Place the underfloor temperature sensor (probe) in the desired location on the floor.
Use the knob limiters to set the air or floor temperature within the range of scope of regulation specified in the technical data.
The device will automatically maintain the set temperature using proportional regulation.

Installation

Deactivate the main fuses of home installation.
Prise the control knob with use of screwdriver and remove it.
Push clips on side walls of the adapter with flat screwdriver and remove the adapter of the controller.
Push clips on side walls of the adapter with flat screwdriver and remove the control module.
Pull out the intermediate frame from the control module of the controller.
Connect installation wires and the temperature sensor (the probe) to the power supply module following the diagram below.
Assemble the power supply module of the controller in the installation box with resilient clips or fastening screws that are supplied with the box. To provide precise temperature measurement watch that the adapter of the control module is in the bottom part of the power supply module.
Assembly the external frame with the intermediate frame.
Push slightly the control module to press it into the power supply module.
Assembly the adapter and watch the precise click of the clips.
Set the minimal and maximal temperature with the use of limiters (standard setting is 5+40ºC).
Assembly the control knob.
Activate the main fuses of home installation.

Additional functions

The function of maintaining minimal temperature in the room
Despite the fact that the controller is turned off (OFF mode), eg. during householders longer absence, it still measures the temperature in the room, and in case the temperature reaches the minimal level which is 5ºC, heating is activated automatically.
Indication of damage and temperature controller deactivation
If the signalling diode starts emitting pulsing light with the frequency f-10/s, it indicates short-circui between the wires of the controller.
If the diode emits pulsing light with the frequency f-1/s, it indicates that one the wires of the controller has been disconnected from the installation clamp.
