Prior to operating the appliance, please carefully read the present manual which contains important information regarding its proper and safe operation. Take care not to lose the present manual. The manufacturer will not be responsible for any damage resulting from improper use of the appliance or from non-observance of the instructions and provisions of the present manual, as well as from attempts by unskilled persons at repairing the appliance. Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the present manual over along with it.

The car audio is a home appliance and is not designed for industrial applications.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The appliance purchased by You complies with all official safety standards applicable to electric appliances in the Russian Federation. The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:

Before making any connections ensure that the electric equipment of your vehicle is 12 V DC with negative ground.
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery before installation to reduce the risk of unit damage and avoid short circuits during connection.
Ensure that the colored wires are connected according to the diagram. Wrong connection may cause unit failure or malfunctions or damage the electric equipment of the vehicle.
Ensure that the negative speaker cable is connected to the negative speaker terminals. Never connect the “-“ speaker wire to the vehicle ground. Do not obstruct the unit ventilation openings and the radiator area, in order to provide sufficient ventilation and reduce the risk of fire. It is not allowed to connect the unit directly to the car battery, i.e. not via the ignition switch, as this will lead to increased battery depletion during vehicle standstill.
The unit is designed for use in vehicle electric systems with the negative battery pole connected to the metal vehicle body (ground).
If the unit is turned on, do not allow shorting the speaker cables between themselves and to the vehicle body. This may cause amplifier overload or damage.
Turn the unit on when not in use (disconnect it from the power supply if it is not operated for a prolonged time).
Do not install the unit in locations where it can:
Prevent the proper operation of the steering wheel or gearshift lever, as this can be the cause of a traffic accident;
Prevent the proper functioning of safety devices, such as an airbag, as this can be the cause of a fatal accident;
Obstruct the driver’s view.
Do not attempt to operate the unit while driving the car. Doing so can be the cause of a traffic accident. If You have to operate the unit while driving, keep Your eyes on the road as failure to do so can be cause of a traffic accident.
When listening to audio while driving set the volume to such a level as not to prevent the driver from hearing everything that is happening around the car.
Do not operate the unit while the car is driving if this can distract the driver’s attention.
Do not expose the unit to drastic temperature changes. This may cause condensation to form inside the unit and lead to damage. If condensate should form inside the unit, wait for 1 hour for the moisture to evaporate. No condensation on unit components should be allowed. Avoid operating the unit in dusty environments.
Do not turn the unit on if the temperature inside the car is higher or lower than normal. Before turning the unit on wait for the temperature inside the car to return to normal. Operating temperature range: 0 ⁰C to +40 ⁰C. In order to avoid damage do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, heat radiation and hot air streams.
Use only recommended accessories in order to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.
Do not attempt to disassemble the unit as this may lead to an accident. Do not modify or repair the unit yourself. This may lead to serious damage and make our warranty repair undertakings void. Any repairs may only be performed at an authorized service centre.
The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to children play with the appliance.
Special instructions for transportation (shipment) and sale: none.

INSTALLATION

Insert the mounting sleeve into the opening, choose the appropriate bend-off brackets according to material thickness and bend them inwards, making sure that the sleeve is properly seated.
Install the sleeve as securely as possible, using upper and lower brackets. Bend the brackets by 90 degrees for reliable fastening.

ATTENTION! Prior to final installation connect the wiring temporarily to make sure that the unit and the whole audio system functions properly. Use only the accessories supplied with the unit for proper installation. The use of other accessories may cause failures. Consult your car dealer if holes should be drilled or any other modifications made to the vehicle. Install the car stereo unit in such a way that it will not interfere with the driver and not injure the passenger in case of an abrupt stop.

OPERATION

CONTROLS

ON button/mode selector. Press the button to turn the unit on. Press and hold to turn the unit off. When the unit is on, pressing the button will switch between playback modes.
Bluetooth. The Bluetooth mode activates automatically when the unit is turned on. By pressing the Mode button select ВТ mode. The Bluetooth icon will constantly blink on the front panel. After successful synchronization with the phone the icon will stop blinking. The Bluetooth allows you to play music from your phone. To answer a call press the button with the “Pick Up” icon. To end a call press the “Hand Up” icon.
Radio frequency switch. In the “Radio” mode use this button to select the band: FМ1-FМ2-FМ3. Press the button and radio mode and hold it for 3 seconds to start the radio frequency search for the strongest signal. The search will be over as soon as one full search cycle is completed. To exit the setup process do not press any buttons for more than 5 seconds.
Radio programming buttons / MP3 setting buttons.
In the “Radio” mode press buttons 1 to 6 to select a number for the station to store. Hold down the button for several seconds for the station to be stored under the corresponding number. In the MP3 mode the buttons function as follows:
Play/Pause: use this button to start or suspend playback.
INT: during playback press the INT button to play the first 10 seconds of all tracks on the data carrier (INTRO mode).
RPT: press to repeat all tracks.
RDM: press to play tracks in random order.
– 10: press to move 10 tracks back, press and hold to return to the first track in the folder.
+ 10: press to move 10 tracks forward, press and hold to advance to the last track in the folder.
“Forward” button. In the MP3 mode press to play the next track. Press and hold to fast forward within the track. In the Radio mode press to automatically search for the next station.
LED/LCD display. Displays the radio frequency or the contents of the flash drive (USB/SD/MMC/TF).
RC signal receiver (models СТ-8110/8113). Point the RC towards the receiver.
USB port. Insert USB flash drive into the port to automatically play back the tracks stored on it.
AUX port. Connect the playback device to the AUX port, select the AUX mode – the audio signal from your source device will be played through the car speakers.
SD/MMC/TF slot. Insert the memory card into the card reader slot to automatically playback the tracks stored on it.
Dial regulator / Setup menu button. Turn the dial to increase or decrease volume.
Press the dial to enter the setup menu:
In the МР3 mode: Volume-BASS-TREBLE-BAL-FAD-LOUND OFF/ON-Volume.
In the Radio mode: BAS-TRE-BAL-FAD-DX/LOC-VOL.
Turn the dial right and left to set the desired sound parameters.
In models CT-8111/8112/8113/8114/8119 holding down the dial will display the time on the screen. Press the dial again shortly to enter time setting mode.
“Back” button. In the MP3 mode press to play the previous track. Press and hold to rewind the track. In the Radio mode press to automatically search for the previous station.
“Clock” button. Short press to display current time. Press and hold until the digits on the screen start blinking to enter time settings. Use buttons (5) and (12) to adjust time (hours/minutes).
“Mute” button. Turn audio output off or on.
Microphone. In the Bluetooth mode it allows making phone calls via the unit.
“Reset” button. Press and hold using a thin pointed object to return factory settings.
USB port for external device charging. This USB port should be used for powering and charging different mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, video recorders, players, etc.).
“Backlight color” button. Press to change the unit button backlight color.
Voice Assist button. In models СТ-8111/8112/8113/8114/8116/8119/8122 it allows to activate the voice assist function in the connected phone.

MP3 C USB/SD/MMC/TF FILE PLAYBACK
SD/MMC/TF type memory cards with a capacity up to 32 GB are supported.
Note: Because of constant improvement of SD type memory card design and data exchange protocols we cannot guarantee full compatibility of the unit with all SD cards. The storage capacity of the card may vary depending on manufacturer. Compatibility of 2-in-1 type memory cards is not guaranteed. USB flash card support. Maximum USB flash card capacity – 32 GB.
Note: Not all USB devices can be compatible with this unit, as there are currently a multitude of USB device operation standards used by different manufacturers. FAT file system support. External hard drive (USB HDD) support is not guaranteed.

DISPOSAL
Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed of separately from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a specialized electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre. The materials will be processed in accordance with their classification. By turning the discarded appliance over for recycling You will make a considerable contribution to environmental protection. You can obtain a list of electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centers from Your local municipal authorities.

CERTIFICATION DATA, GUARANTEE

The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user, provided the item
will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture). If any questions related to appliance maintenance should arise, or if the appliance has malfunctions, apply to the CENTEK TM Authorized Service Center. DEAR CONSUMER!
The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months from the date of sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.

GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:
• The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card. The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.
The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
• the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
• the safety rules and requirements are observed.
The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.
The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
• mechanical damage;
• normal wear of the appliance;
• non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
• improper installation or transportation;
• natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
• ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
• repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
• use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
• failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
a) remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
b) consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
• for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
• for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.
The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.
The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.
Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).
