PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE
For the quick chopping and mixing of foods. The blender set is a home appliance and is not designed for industrial applications!

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:

  1. Carefully read the present manual prior to operating the appliance.

  2. Retain the present manual, cash voucher and appliance packaging. If lost, the manual cannot be renewed and the warranty on the appliance becomes void. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.

  3. Do not place the appliance near heat sources, do not expose it to direct sunlight and moisture (do not submerge in water and other liquids). Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.

  4. In case of ingress of moisture or leakage from the appliance, immediately disconnect it from the power supply.

  5. Do not install the appliance on soft, uneven, unstable surfaces. Do not cover the appliance.

  6. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply after use and before cleaning. When disconnecting the appliance from the power socket grab and pull the plug, not the cable.

  7. If the power cable is damaged, in order to avoid dangerous situations, have it replaced by the Manufacturer, a maintenance service or similar skilled personnel.

  8. Do not leave the appliance unattended. Ensure that the power cord is routed out of reach of children.

  9. The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let children play with the appliance.

  10. Regularly check the appliance and its power cable for damage.
    Operating a damaged appliance is not allowed.

  11. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourselves, apply to certified technicians.

  12. Only the use of original spare parts is allowed. Do not use accessories which are not included in the scope of supply.

  13. Ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance before operating it.

  14. Before turning the appliance on ensure that it is fully and correctly assembled.

  15. Do not pull the power cable if it touches sharp edges, is jammed by any objects or entangled; avoid contact of the power cable with hot surfaces.

  16. In case of unskilled intervention into the appliance or non-observance of the operating requirements listed in the present manual the warranty becomes void.

  17. Connect the appliance only to power grid sockets equipped with earthing contacts, use only two-pole extension cables with 10A rating and an earthing conductor.

  18. Do not use multiple high-power appliances simultaneously – this may lead to malfunctions in residential power supply systems.

  19. The appliance should only be disassembled after the motor has come to a complete stop.

  20. Do not use the appliance if:

    • the power cord is damaged;
    • the appliance has visible damage;
    • the appliance has been dropped from height;
    • the appliance has been exposed to moisture.
  21. Ensure the appliance is turned off when not in use!

  22. Do not operate the appliance at temperatures below 0 °С and above 35 °С. If the appliance has been exposed to temperatures below 0 °С for a prolonged time, place it in a heated environment for at least 3 hours before turning it on.

  23. Pull the plug from the power socket if: the appliance does not work correctly (unusual noise, vibration, etc.); before disassembly/reassembly; after each use. Disconnect the appliance from power supply if You have to leave it unattended for even a short time.

  24. Packaging materials can be potentially dangerous to children and should be stored in a specially designated location.

  25. Special instructions for transportation (shipment) and sale: none.

  26. Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the present manual over along with it.

OPERATING PROCEDURE
PREPARATIONS FOR OPERATION
Before connecting the appliance to power supply ensure that the power grid voltage corresponds to that indicated on the appliance. Remove all packaging materials.
Clean the attachment (see “Maintenance” Section).

ATTENTION!
Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 30 seconds at a time, always wait for at least 3 minutes before each subsequent work cycle.

USING THE HANDHELD BLENDER

Before chopping hot foods let them cool down below 70 °C to avoid overheating the blender.

  1. Install the attachment (5) on the blender housing by turning it until a click is heard.
  2. Connect the appliance to power supply. Sink the attachment into the food before turning the blender on to avoid splashing.
  3. In order to grind foods, place them (up to max. 700 ml) in the metering glass (15). You may also use any other suitable container; however please be careful, as the blender attachment can scratch up the walls of the vessel.
  4. Select the power output with the regulator (1). Firmly holding the container, press the power button (2). Use the TURBO mode button (3) to crush hard foods. Never sink the blender into the food below the coupling between the attachment housing and the attachment.
  5. Move the appliance up and down during operation.
  6. After using the blender, before removing the attachment, disconnect the blender from power supply!
  7. Always disconnect the appliance before, assembly, disassembly, attachment removal and when the appliance is not in use.

USING THE CHOPPER

The chopper is designed for reducing meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, etc.
Never attempt to chop extremely hard foods, such as nutmeg, coffee beans or cereals.

Before using the chopper:

  • cut the food into small pieces;
  • remove the stalks from herbs and the husks from nuts;
  • remove bones, sinew and gristles from meat.
    1. Assemble the blades (12), (13) and shaft (14).
    2. Install the assembled blades into the chopper bowl (6).
    3. Place the ingredients into the bowl (maximum quantity 1400 ml).
    4. Install the chopper lid (7) on the bowl.
    5. Insert the blender housing into the coupling and ensure that it is firmly seated in place.
    6. Select the power output with the power regulator.
    7. Press the power button. Use the TURBO mode button to chop hard foods.
    8. After using the chopper press the attachment release button to disconnect the blender housing from the chopper bowl.
    9. Turn the lid counterclockwise to release it and lift it up.
    10. Remove the blade by turning it and pulling it out.

USING THE GRINDING/DICING/SLICING DISKS IN THE CHOPPER

  1. In order to use the chopper disks, remove the chopper lid by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the blades. The grinding disk (10) or slicing disk (11) can now be installed on the shaft. In order to install the dicing disk (8) the shaft has to be removed. The disks (10) and (11) have 2 working sides:
    • disk (10) – side 1 for coarse grinding, side 2 for fine grinding;
    • disk (11) – side 1 for thick slices, side 2 for thin slices.
  2. After installing the disks close the chopper lid and turn it counterclockwise to secure it.
  3. Insert the blender housing into the coupling and ensure that it is firmly seated in place.
  4. Select the power output with the power regulator.
  5. Press the power button to activate the appliance; add food through the opening in the chopper lid.

HANDHELD MIXER
The mixer is designed for whipping soft foods, such as eggs, egg whites, cream, batter dough and sugar.

ATTENTION!
Do not attempt to whip foods with a viscosity exceeding that of margarine, as this can cause damage to the whisk attachment. Do not whip more than 6 eggs or 1000 ml of cream at a time.

USING THE MASH MAKING ATTACHMENT (POTATO MASHER)
This device is well suited for quick and efficient making of mashed potatoes, as it provides minimal mixing. Excessive grinding and mixing causes the formation of gelatinized starches and turns mash potatoes into a paste-like substance.

  1. Place the food into the bowl or any other suitable container for whipping.
  2. Attach the potato masher to the motor unit.
  3. Sink the attachment into the food and hold down the power button to activate the appliance.
  4. Carefully move the attachment around inside the mashed mass to obtain the desired consistency.
  5. Release the power button to stop the motor, remove the attachment from the container and disconnect the appliance from power supply.

MAINTENANCE

  • Always clean the appliance before putting it away for storage.
  • Disconnect the appliance from power supply before cleaning.
  • Carefully remove all attachments.
  • Use a damp cloth to clean the motor unit and coupling gears, then wipe them dry.
  • Wash the attachments, metering glass and chopper bowl in warm water with a neutral detergent, rinse and let dry.
  • After processing salty or sour foods immediately rinse the attachments used with water.
  • Some foods, such as carrots or beet, may leave stains on the attachments and containers; wipe the surfaces with a cloth dampened with vegetable oil, then rinse with water.
  • Place the chopper blade inside the bowl.
  • Do not wind the power cord around the motor unit.
  • Store the blender set in a dry, cool location out of reach of children.

ATTENTION!
Never submerge the motor unit and coupling gears into any liquids, never wash them under a tap or put in a dishwasher!

The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months since the date of sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.

GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

  1. The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:

    • The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
      The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.
  2. The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:

    • the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
    • the safety rules and requirements are observed.
  3. The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

  4. The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

    • mechanical damage;
    • normal wear of the appliance;
    • non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
    • improper installation or transportation;
    • natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
    • ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
    • repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
    • use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
    • failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
    • remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
    • consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
    • for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
    • for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.
  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance). The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
