Product Information
- The TXR-01-H is a temperature transmitter that converts the resistance of a Pt100 RTD sensor into a 4-20mA signal.
- It is a 2-wire transmitter that requires a power supply of 12 to 36 VDC.
- The output signal is a 4-20mA current loop that can be used to communicate temperature data to an indicator, controller, PLC or recorder.
- The transmitter is designed for use with a simplex RTD Pt100 sensor and has in-head mounting.
Product Usage Instructions
- Connect the RTD sensor to the transmitter according to the sensor wiring diagram provided in the manual.
- For a 3-wire configuration, connect the single leaded end of the RTD bulb to terminal 1 and the double leaded ends to terminals 2 and 3 (interchangeable).
- For a 2-wire configuration, connect the RTD bulb across terminals 1 and 2 (interchangeable).
- Connect the transmitter to a power supply of 12 to 36 VDC.
- Connect the load (indicator, controller, PLC or recorder) to the transmitter’s output loop according to the loop wiring diagram provided in the manual.
- The transmitter will convert the resistance of the RTD sensor into a 4-20mA signal that can be used to communicate temperature data to the connected load.

- For the 3-Wire configuration, connect the single leaded end of the RTD bulb to terminal 1 and the double leaded ends to terminals 2 and 3 (interchangeable).
- For 2-Wire configuration, connect the RTD bulb across terminals 1 & 2 (interchangeable).
Zero Adjustment:
Within ± 1.2% of the Range through multi-turn trimpot.
Example:
For 0 to 400°C, 0.012*(400°C – 0°C) = ± 4.8°C
Span Adjustment:
Within ± 12% of the Range through multi-turn trimpot.
Example:
For 0 to 400°C, 0.12*(400°C – 0°C) = ± 48°C
