ArcPixel Power Controller
The unit must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all national and local electrical and construction codes and regulations. This device falls under class I and must be grounded!
STEP 1
ARCPIXEL POWER INSTALLATION
Use fasteners that are appropriate for use with your mounting surface.
Fasten the ArcPixel Power to surface via four mounting holes
and four screws.
STEP 2
ARCPIXEL POWER CONNECTION
Rear side view – 4x ArcDot output, 4x ArcPix output, Ethernet, DMX OUT and DMX
IN
Front side view – Power Input Maximum length between the
ArcPixel Power and the last fuxtures must not exceed 100 meters. Do not
connect or disconnect LED modules when ArcPixel Power is under voltage. If the
line of fixtures is disconnected, switch off the ArcPixel Power before
restoring the connection.
2A ArcDot connection
ArcDot line may be done with in/out connection or by using T-connectors (1
ArcDot can be connected to T-connector). Max. number of ArcDots per output is
35. Max. cable length of 1 LED output is 65m at 35 ArcDots and 100m at 25
ArcDots per LED output.
At the beginning of each output line a ferrite has to be installed and an
active terminator has to be installed at the end of the line for addresiing.
Active terminator has to be replaced by passive terminator when addressing is
done.
2B ArcPix II connection
Ferrite filters application instructions:
The ferrite with one turn of the flat cable around it (aprox. 100mm of cable)
has to be placed at the beginning of each ArcPix II output line. Ferrite
without cable turn around it has to be placed after each thirtieth ArcPix II
of the output line before mounting it to surface. (e.g. total of 4 ferrites in
line of 100 ArcPixes II) Every ArcPix II line has to be terminated with the
termination box ArcPix.
Install terminal block to flat cable of ArcPix II line and connect it to
ArcPixel Power output.
Max. load per output is 100 ArcPixes II and max. length of output line is
100m.
